I've traveled far and wide, trust me, American tourists don't have a bad rep. North or South American. But it is appreciated, when someone mentions travelers to mind their manners. Often times people feel like they can do as they please since they're leaving that place soon anyway.

It eliminated my sense of lack and scarcity mindset. I encourage all brothas to get a passport because it can change your life.

I’ve been to Thailand over 7 times, and I really like everything Kevin puts out. Every time I visit the country, I have to get at least 3 suits made. Lived in SEA for 10 years now and finally, someone speaks the truth about living a decent lifestyle abroad. 10 years to go before my full retirement date kicks in. There are lots of channels telling you how to live cheap, the problem is if you're new to SEA 90% will hate it. You don't travel or live, on the other side of the planet to live like a local. My personal rule, you want at least double the monthly expenses in income, plus tons of savings in the bank. Emergencies of some type happen frequently, plus when you finally meet the side piece, there are always extra expenses that most people don't think about.

Truly lived on $2600 a month for years You at $4500 is a great budget to live a lifestyle you'd have at 5x the cost in the US. $1200 base + like you said is right. If you are 50 and live in your mom's basement and just hang out there on the internet and play games and you do the same in Thailand (and eat local) maybe you could do with a bit less budget. Most people forget about the perishables like phones, clothes, tv's, scooters, etc. Sure they can exist on $500 but once that phone breaks, they are done. Love the channel.
Man you can ball out on a budget for about 1500 if you doing 2000 and up. you really balling out. My dude went out there and bought scooters a restaurant and a club. But he was a lawyer. Anyway he found a lil chick out there and she manages all his businesses he still lives here until his son graduates. Not going to lie I found a few chicks on tinder before ingot there.
