Enjoyed this video so thank you for that - very informative on the use of the bait implements. I’m boning up on Herne Bay as I’m going there tomorrow morning (01/02/22) to fish for the first time. Still a newbie at this fishing malarkey, I’m gonna pop into Ron’s Tackle for bait and info and was thinking of setting up on the beach just to the west of Herne Bay Pier having parked on Central Parade. Just wondered if you had any thought or tips. Much obliged - keep up the cracking posts, I definitely find them both inspirational and informative. What may seem like bread and butter to you is a whole new world to me! Cheers, Ron.
Very slow here in Scotland to where a live so so slow last 3 times ave been out ave had nothing same all over though but like u say surely soon start getting better 🤞🤞
You have inspired me to drag out the rods mate. I have had enough of rig building and lure making. I wasn't going to bother yet was going to leave it another few weeks. I have booked off work for Tuesday and Wednesday next week and going to hit the kent coast. Not sure where to go yet or if to fish night or day but hey im going. Well done on the fish by the way.
Well I hope you catch something I really do! I think the tides are getting a bit smaller by weds so will be better for rays. I went today but it was a BIG tide and very little activity
Wicked. I might head there tonight or minster. I'm after a ray. I've not had much luck myself this year. Weather just seems all over the place. We need some stable warm weather
Great vid again dude, really enjoyed that. Do you still do an off the ground cast when using grippers. I've never tried an off the ground, want to see if it will work. Pretty much use grippers all the time here on the isle of wight. Cheers 👍
Hi Greg hope you don’t mind me asking but what size braid do you use on your sonik with the shimano ultegra and on your cennetic for the heavier fishing thanks alan
Hi mate I fish in herne bay myself just getting into sea fishing I come from river or lake any tips on good spots or good rigs all that’s sort of things
Ive got separate vids on how to build all the rigs i use and it all depends on what your fishing for. I like the north end of sandwich bay in the summmer for bass but other than that it can all be hit and miss. One day a blank at a venue could very easily be your best ever session the next time you fish
@@Oren.bud16 yes of course! I will probably do it at the start of the bass season tho, around mid May. If there is anything specific you want to know before then just ask👍
Hi Greg u OK mate. Another good film enjoyed the tunes . All the best from GY.

Yeah If I need to get the distance I will ofg with grippers. The always grip fine once cast so rarely come unclipped
Do the hounds run through their .nice ray looks easy fishing mark to get to for me getting old lol cheers
They do occasionally but head east a little further (1 mile on) and they show in numbers. Reculver, minis bay
Hi Greg hope you don’t mind me asking but what size braid do you use on your sonik with the shimano ultegra and on your cennetic for the heavier fishing thanks alan
It's 18kg spiderwire stealth smooth 👍
Good video happy you got a ray, but you haven’t been fishing if you don’t get a seaweed fish enjoyed watching tight lines till the next one
Lmao! I've had many a seaweed fish in my times🤦♂️😂

Good video as usual! How did you clip ray’s bait down? I mean you did an of ground cast and what clip do you use as the bait is tight down for cast?
So on the pulley dropper rig I hook the dropping hook snood up with a bent rig clip and then clip the hook down onto an imp👍
@@gsp yes I use pulley dropper but I am afraid to put it on the ground because it’s uncliping so easy
That looked ok👍🎣
Cheers
What app do you use for your fishing data ie activities, tides please

Nice little session
Cheers👍
Hi what brand and where did you get that rig wallet
That's the Shakespeare agility rig wallet and I got mine from Ron Edwards Tackle in herne bay👍
@@gsp oh really I don’t live to far from there cheers mate👍🏻 also can you make a video on how to use lures and how set them up

Thanks greg did you mean 18lbs or kgs
