My vote for cheap cards will be - Screamer Killer ($.15 warhammer), Dust bowl ($.50 OTJ), Force of vigor ( $5 OTJ), Reanimate ($3.5 OTJ), Fastlands (All time lows OTJ), Filter lands (all time lows OTJ), Surgical Extraction ($.30 OTJ), Academy Manufacturer ($2.5 Com OTJ), Ramunap Excavator ( $1.74 Com OTJ), Ancient Greenwarden ($4 Com OTJ), Command Beacon ($4 Com OTJ), Oracle of Mul Daya ($2.5 Com OTJ), Honorable mention to Stella Lee (Com OTJ) who is currently $1.37 but will not stay there for very long.
If you thought the gold border took you back to Mirage, i got one better for ya. My mate got a Mystery Booster box a few weeks ago and the cards smell EXACTLY like Mirage cards. Straight up, took me back to opening packs in my mum's car, waiting for her to finish food shopping. Was crazy, i recommend getting a pack just to inhale!
The reason I don't like Academy Manufactor is exactly what you said. All of the tokens except treasures are fucking terrible. If I can afford to pay 2 to do something marginal like that I've already lost the game.
LOL I drew a Riku at the pre-release traded it for Roxannnnnnnnne! You don't have to put on the red light! Modal spells seemed cool with Riku but Roxanne seems like a super funny commander to build around, dropping Meteor's like its hawt, cats meow! ;P
Aftermath analyst to the 🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙 Moon....the card is a powerhouse that is a huge sleeper for commander players right now and dredge players, this card in foil is an easy $20 bill in a year from now. I bought 4 at .50 cents the day of release and gathered more from pulls.
