  • Katie views tattoos as graffiti so imagine what happened when she came face to face with Britain's Most Tattooed Man. We never expected her to say THAT!

Tattoos are art, but you can't be surprised when people stare at you for having them all over your face.

Lol I am tattooed myself so don't accuse me of ignorance. I was simply making the point that, in the context of this society, we (unfrotunately) have to somewhat comply to what is expected in order to progress in life. I wasn't comparing tattoos to other art forms. My point is: get tattooed if you want, but make sure they will not affect your chances of living a fulfilling life. Most won't. Face ones might, in certain contexts.

Kamaljit Dhaliwal in my opinion it depends on what you are doing...I personally don't have a major problem with it but in some settings you will definitely find someone who won't agree with this and people will start losing customers. I'm not saying don't do it I just think it's over the top

What’s the difference between not giving someone a job because they’re covered in tattoos (physical appearance), to someone who’s black? (Again, psychical appearance). You can discriminate against one and not the other. If Hopkins would judge someone on their choice to have loads of tattoos it just shows what a massive snowflake she really is as it’s just yet ANOTHER thing that triggers her.

It is not bigoted or discriminatory to not want to hire someone with tattoo's or is obese etc. because these people have CHOSEN to be this way. However getting tattoos that can be concealed by clothing or a small number of tattoos shouldn’t be looked down upon so harshly

I have quite a few tattoos but I still don't understand why people take tattoos to this extreme and get surprised when people don't take them seriously....
On the other hand I don't believe I've ever been disadvantaged when it comes to finding a job etc because of my tattoos, I always cover my tattoos up when I go to work.

I dislike judgemental opinionated people But there is something about her, maybe her success or her humor, that makes her so likable to me. I admire her and I think shes great

actually on another note (tattoos aside) i know someone who changed their name legally just up from the rd from me, when i lived at home, and actually when my family were talking to me and they mentioned that fact that the girl changed her name they thought that as distrepectful and an insult as to what her mom called her in the first place and didnt she have a problem with it and my own mother said if i went and changed my name to lucy or Amanda or any other name or something like Tiggly, you know like a nicknane or a stage name, she wouldnt accept it, with me or my sister shed be very angry and offended, prob give us the silent treatment and force us with the help of my dad to change it bk. One of my friends had someone introduce themselves to her as Burger and i mean even i thought that was silly and asked what his real name was. i mean i thought to myself id never call him that if we met and the stupid thing was i wanted to ask if i could swirt ketchup on him but then there has to be a line somewhere that you dont cross.
And, i know my mom really hated it when she discovered i had a tattoo, she coped it on me after a yr of me having it but for me i didnt just go and do it cos i thought it was cool. She was angry, sounded off about it and the ways that she looked at me after, were horrible, she took the piss out of it and what did i want to do that for, saying that it was ugly and she said she saw it in the chinese shop. But for me, i wanted one, i wanted one for a long time and i thought about it. I was only ever going to have 1 i didnt want three or four so i wanted to find something that defined who i was and not something like a flower or a heart because thats just a waste of ink for me something like that - this is just my thoughts on me - i found that colour cheapened the tattoo so i wouldnt go for a heart with it filled in, i wanted something plain black and when i found my birth symbol, in cancer - obviously not a great big crab but the zoadic sign i knew it was for me and i havent regretted it since. Its a part of me - its not obvious to any one looking at me but i can show it to people if they want to see.. i did find it insulting when my mom carried on about it and i dont think she likes it when other people compliment me on it or saying that they like it but then again these are very old fashioned views and dating back to the bible saying that you must not colour ones skin because it doesnt belong in ur body, same as smoking but we might not live in those times but to respect the right for others to have an opinon, but my Mom would be and was the same as yourself Katie and so would a few elder generations

I think everyone should express themselves in whichever way they want. If fascists like Katie Hopkins don’t agree then she can get lost who cares if someone has tattoos it’s them so they can do what they want. I’m in full support of tattoos since they mean a lot to individuals.

Just because he chooses to do that to himself, doesn't mean he's absolved from the consequences that come from it. See, we live in a society where "do what thou will" is the norm, and that individual is somehow alleviated from responsibility based on popularity and trendsetting, and bad lifestyle choices is either being protected, rewarded or patronized, for the avoidance of offending someone. These protocols are based on feelings and self gratification for FEAR of not living, fear of death, fear of no tomorrow. This society is currently running in a culture of fear, and this tattooed bloke is reinforcing the culture of fear whether he wants to believe it or not.
