Unlucky with the 4 rolls.
Pink, YoungNaijah is one of the best players out there that I've had the misfortune to lose regularly. Towards the end blue was stuck with 4 cities, 1vp, no expansion spots: his only chance of winning was to pull the last vp. Not sure if you thought of it but you could have delayed the game possibly by feeding pink dev card material so he could contest grey for army. Then neither pink nor grey build vps because they are in a dev card race. Tough game

I think in first position you can take the plowing risk. Especially when you're planning with a road setup.
(I would have take the 10-8-3. But that's probably just my weird personal preference.)
