Unbelievable treat to watch the great director direct. Though serious, the set is loose and fun with real give and take from all. No wonder he was able to pull out great performances from his actors and crew. Thanks for super upload, and others!

He's so in sync with the photographer Sven Nykvist he doesn't actually have to look into the camera, he trusts Nykvist implicitly.

One of my favorite films of all time. Then there was Ingrid Bergman, and Liv Ulmann. Somehow, you can’t touch the Swedish in film.
