    Love the wheels! Color combo with the yellow calipers looks beast! If you don't plan on headers I'd definitely just stick with borla muffler deletes, one of the best exhaust combos I've had, but make sure you add piping to the tips, otherwise will melt undercarriage lol.

      @@MartyMotoring the bazooka attachment for borla comes with really nice tips, easy bolt on. I paid $250 at Midas for welded on, but you could grab the bazooka with tips for like $500, use it, and sell it later for $400 easy. Dang Marty you should have done a fluid exchange for the transmission. Run it twice so it replaces all the fluid then run bg transmission conditioner. It works miracles. It’s not ran by a pump it uses the transmission pressure and simply swaps old for new fluid and gets all of it swapped with new. It’s worth it look into it

    Very informative information. You're mods look great! Obviously you can't go wrong with the Michelin PS4 I have them too. You're wheels look really nice! They absolutely are easy to clean the inside of the "tub". The carbon side skirt look totally amazing. Preventive maintenance goes a very long way with Lexus! Longevity it the goal. I like the Yellow over the red calipers. I replaced my engine bay cover with a carbon fiber one. It reduces the amount of heat and looks good doing so. The drain plug on the rear Differential fluid looked a bit dirty. I'd recommend changing it again at 10 0 or 15K miles just to ensure it stays working properly. Very simple thing to do as you already know. I could practically smell the transmission fluid while watching it drain!! 🤣😂 Keep on top of that as you already know. Dont over due the drain and fill every 30K miles should keep you going strong. 🙏 praying your Valley plate has been done already. Just keep a watchful eye on it. The radiator cap, Thermostat and fluid flush should be considered due to the fact you live in a cold climate 😂 (unlike me in NC) The car sounds amazing!! I'd probably replace the coil wires just to eliminate them being an issue during the winter. The 44K he mentioned would be a good idea too. It's not going to hurt anything. I'd do it before you change the plugs. Little by little you'll get everything you want done. Enjoy that V8 my friend

    This poor ISF looks like somebody gave it the Pep Boys accessory package with every possible cheap cosmetic part that they sell. The only thing missing is a firebird hood decal and some wire curb feelers and reflective door guards. They say rims make a car which is why he chose the worst possible rims available. Apparently, the shop who sold those to him must have gotten stuck with them somehow and just needed to find someone willing to buy them. This is one occasion where the stock rims actually look better than the upgrades. I love how the shop just took a rattle can of black spray paint and just walked around the car giving a single spray of paint to the wheel as he kept walking around the car. Looks perfect to me. I don't know why he chose to paint his callipers yellow with a silver car and then blame the paint makers for it looking bad which was due to him not taking the time to prep the callipers properly and not the maker of the paint. I cant imagine why they didn't clear his TPMS if the shop had techstream. Any decent shop that works on Lexus would for sure have that capability. Maybe they didn't think it would matter anyway on that particular car or maybe it was that they thought they could squeeze out a couple more dollars from Marty when he brings it back in after a week of having to see that warning light on his dash. I'm not sure but did he just remove one of his mufflers only without putting in a muffler delete pipe? Why would he do that to that poor car. Why would they let him do that? Did somebody make a bet that he would be ok with that? Or were they all just in too much pain from laughing when he requested this and then they looked at the car and then they looked at him and said what a great idea Marty. Then they just wished him good luck and told him that his firebird decal would be in next week and that they will instal it for him real quick for only $250 a side since they couldn't order the one large one anymore. I could just keep going on and on with this video but I would then be wasting my time since it won't matter anyway. Hopefully he gets tired of this car and sells it to someone that can restore it to its original beauty if it still can be at that point. Thanks for the video Marty, I have not been this entertained in a long time now. But I won't be coming back to view more of these gems since it will probably only leave me in tears to see this great car be destroyed any further than I had already witnessed here today.

    • @MartyMotoring
      @MartyMotoring  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you found it entertaining. This has to be the longest and most troll comment I've ever read, so I will respond. Lol.
      -There are no Pep Boys parts on the car.
      -I would never put those firebird decals on my car.
      -No one got stuck with these "rims", they are $3000 Japanese-made forged lightweight racing wheels that I wanted and got a great deal on. Google is great for research.
      -The stock wheels were fine, but they are actually a special edition and heavier.
      -Nothing wrong with spraying some black paint on the hubs until I got center caps later.
      -I chose yellow calipers just like my last car because I will be vinyl wrapping the car since the silver is understated.
      -I prepped the calipers properly but the POR-15 caliper paint does not yeild the same results as the G2 paint.
      -The tire shop I went to did not have Techstream, and I ended up programming the TPMS myself in a newer video.The light was on since I got the car, so no one was squeezing money out of me lol.
      -Both mufflers are deleted now and have muffler delete tips, not everything is on camera or happens in the same day. This is a common ISF mod.
      -Only someone simple-minded would consider this "ruined" or needing "restoring". I've literally been replacing part to make the car better condition.
      -I can't wait to "destroy" the car more, leaving you "in tears" and take it away from its "original beauty".
      😢 Poor car. Getting enjoyed and driven like it was meant to. Thanks for the view!
