It is very nice to see this history of Hotel de Paris. I was married there in 1984 when it was a local museum. Me and my future wife wanted a romantic old west venue in Colorado for our wedding. We walked around Georgetown looking for a location. We happened to step into Hotel de Paris asking if they knew of a place that would accept weddings. "Right here" was the answer.
What an incredibly beautiful setting we had for our wedding.

They should open the hotel and start taking guests again. Have be both a museum and working hotel. They didn't the same thing with the Delaware hotel in Leadville build 10 years later during the same silver era

Louie dupuis is the main character of Anne Rice's interview with the vampire. People were kind of taken aback when they made a series and Louie was a black homosexual. People who had only seen the Tom Cruise movie and had never read the series of books that is.
