Woke up this morning with a bad dose of the "mental shits". Bed at 2am, aawake at 4 for no reason and not happy about it. Made a coffee, switched on the PC and at 5am on the dot, I get a notification that Briggsy's back!!! I guess the universe was as stoked about your upload as I am mate and woke me up in time to be one of the first few to watch it.
That thing with the cops mate. I have the same sort of face it seems. Or at least I did when I was younger anyway. One year on the week before Christmas, I was pulled no less than 8 times in 4 days for suspicion of drink driving. It was literally on my way to work and then on my way home again. Like you, it had been donkeys years since my last drink and as much as I fully empathise with the "why" of it all, it really got on my tits that it would be the same small town cop (I live in a small town!) each time. The ironic thing is that a decade or two later and the same bloke makes the local rag for getting caught drink driving. Finding that out really made my day, if I'm honest mate :D
Anyways, good to have you back on the screen and I'm already looking forward to the next ton of hours you've put into fliming, editing and I hope chucking a bit of home grown music in with the next one ( hint, hint ;) )
Haha hint hint aye, I'm well into stranded part 4 for morningtide but ran out of coin so had to come back do a couple briggsy edits then i'll be back to MTF... been a long time between MTF films, looks like we're gunna get an editor for em soon.

Anyone who gets clean/sober knows how much of a blessing it is to have hobbies like fishing and surfing to help them stay on the right path. I will say my addictive personality definitely gets in the way even with my healthy addictions. FROTHINGGGGGGGG

BRIGGSY!!! I was just asking Cavy the other day if you had any vids you were working on. That sucks big time being profiled like that by the police. I cannot imagine and I feel for anyone who deals with that on a regular basis. Holy sh**, if that second GT was 14kg, then Rhino's must have been close to 30 for sure! Imagine all the fish you said were about 15kg that were so much bigger than that. I have often wondered why you never weigh any of your fish - glad to see it being done, cuz I am the worst guesser. Well, maybe me and Dennis, haha. That was a good line about Denny's 30kg fish being more like 12kg. I laughed hard at that. Anyways, as always I'm pumped to see you back here. not to dwell on the negatives, but the police, I know exactly how you feel and that's one big reason I love living in Bali... even though there's legendary corruption, the attitude of the police in Bali is completely different from the cops in America and apparently from your story, the cops in Australia. You could be the worst criminal in the USA but if you're golden if you look like the typical suburban model citizen. From my experience, America has become a police state and I'll never live there again. lived 8 years in Bali (not Kuta) and it's amazing how society functions in harmony without an obvious police presence. btw so happy to see a new video, cheers
Depends on where you live the U.S.A. is huge and in the cities yes but out in the west or rural America you never know they are around I have not been stopped in over 30 years and I have way more ink thank Briggsy and a lot more hair lol.... it is just higher crime in higher population so more police presence they have a tough job I could never do it ....my hats off to them glad they are there ...
Idk man! From the sounds of it the cops in Australia are far worse than here in USA! Still some bullshit going on here in some places but most ppl complaining about police are committing crimes and creat the problems they are facing! That said there is much police reform that needs to be done! I believe if anything thing have gotten far better than in the past tho!
