Puerta Maya Cozumel, Mexico Cruise Port May 2024/What to do in Puerta Maya? Walking Tour

We had a fantastic time at the Puerta Maya side of Cozumel Cruise port. There are amazing places to shop and buy some unique souvenirs. Several restaurants. Free frozen daiquiri. Walking and enjoying the cruise port on another wonderful day.

So I see you left the ship and took a look at Cozumel a little pass the gate? What was your thoughts of this tourist town? I've heard it's best to stay on the ship. Thanks for sharing.

Hello. Plenty of tourist will leave the port area and walk the main strip from the cruise port. We always see the Mexican police on duty around the area. We have never felt unsafe. We have been to Cozumel 3 times. Hope this helps
