Exactly what I thought.... cuz I tried downloading the game Leo's fortune on my 8 pro and it's not even available. Says it was made for an older version of Android.

@@Kenzibit lol same, but the most likely reason is that the Tensor G2 and G3 are fully 64bit SoC's, so Apps (mostly old apps with 32bits) don't work anymore on Pixel 7 or newer.
I paid 200 euro for a pixel 7 pro... best decision ever...

Not worth the upgrade tbh. Unless you got the extra money to waste there really is no reason to upgrade from the 7 pro to the 8 pro.
can you at least remove those 3 buttons below? it looks so jurassic
FYI, these loading times are not entirely accurate. It may depends on a bunch of factors. To be accurate, it would be better to run the test multiple times and do an average of speed for both for more accurate results. Still interresting though.
I still prefer the curved screen. I don like flat panels for sure

No mention about the brighter display? I have the 7 Pro and it's almost unusable outside in the sun, even at full brightness. When playing PUBG, I have to turn up brightness to almost full even in a completely dark room.

Pixels are not about 'speed' they are about software!! if you are a gamer but something else.

Yeah true, it isnt noticable though... They only reduced 100 pixels, its not like they make it 1080p, the screen is brighter on the Pixel 8 pro tbh

Keep your 7 pro, the 8 just got 7 years of updates that's all keep your 7 pro I must say the pixel 8 series is actually little better than the pixel 7 series and the 8 connects to more devices
I still have the 7 pro. And after watching this I'll stick with it until they get rid of that garbage Samsung processor that they call the Tensor. 12 gigs of ram and I have ram management issues, and the processor isn't very fast. I actually had phones 5 years ago that were faster than this device with far less ram. Snapdragon is a proven warrior processor. Even if Google isn't going to use the latest and greatest Snapdragon processor then at least use the previous or the generation before that. Those would still be far superior to this Samsung garbage
