Wet the concrete when painting, and the concrete will soak up the paint.. it won’t peal, it might fade a little but the color will always be there.

I have just watched this as I am looking for something to make with my young residents we are hoping to make a fairy garden this is amazing I am very much a novice just wondered if you could give me an idea of ratio sand to cement and rough drying times so I have an idea of when to start as I read in the comments you need to remove the material before it is completely dry sorry for the long post I don’t want to let my lot down as they will be upset if it doesn’t work. Thank you in advance

I have taken 2 parts of sand and 1 part of cement.
My suggestion is that you should take off the materials after 4 hours and after that you have to leave it for 24 hours to completely dry.
