If you can get down with longer jams, then there is no reason not to get down with Goose. They are pretty accessible too as they don't get out there too far.
@@AndrewJDuddy their jams are good but they need to be more exploratory with them and try new things, I've noticed some repetitiveness sometimes where they rely too much on the fast jam style out the gate instead of maybe starting slow, getting dark and dirty with some funk and build it. They did a great job at Red Rocks in the first set but the second set was too repetitive
@@dancygr absolutely agree. Remember these guys been around for only a few years. It takes years and years to be able to do what Phish does. I want goose to explore more and I believe they will.
Goooooose! This is awesome, thank you for doing this rundown. I know this is called Premier Guitar and not Premier Bass but I NEED to know more about the Trevor Weekz rig.
you know its like you need multiple OD's, reverbs and delays to get to get the sounds that only one pedal cant duplicate. Pricey, but obviously needed, but can see that they are usually preset for that one vibe. 😊
What's on Rick's mic stand? I know it must be part of the vocal effects, I wish they hadn't skipped over that tho! *Edit/update: After some digging around, I think it might be a mixer for his in-ear monitors. I think it's a Midas DP48* (for anyone else who was as curious about it as I was)
“It was ran over by a car…” “Do you know who the person was who…” “Um. I … I did it. I ran it over!” 🤭 That’s just awesome. We need the bigger story. 😂
Very interesting, the different approaches these guys take. I have thought that Rick's tone is amazingly consistent but then he goes and says the knobs get moved around all the time and he just goes with it, lol.
This was a show about the existence of the shadow self...and the elephantmen hiding inside us all ,,,,,who saw his shadow 👀,,and realized....it was not 100% Sold on Goose...
Could have sworn I saw an upgraded Alessandro 64 speaker in Peters Deluxe. I have the same speaker in mine and know exactly what they look and sound like. One of the best Speakers going( I did have my 65 stripped and re wired by George Alessandro) we tried many speakers. Turned out in a blind test, I chose Georges own. Correct me if I’m wrong or if it was a different deluxe all together. But I saw that speaker.
Peter: This pedal was invented in this country, in this year, by a guy named Gustaf Rick: I’m not even sure what all these knobs do I love the dichotomy lmao it works so goddam well
If you like that first riff Peter plays at the start of the video, you NEEEEED to start listening to the band Maserati. They live off dotted 8th note riffs like this

Thanks for this awesome rundown, killer band. Does Rick run the Mesa only out of the clean channel into his board? I didn't see any foot switch pedal.
Thanks for having us!
Our pleasure! And keep rocking the world!
Never heard of you guys before but you seem like nice people so I'm going down the rabbit hole, wish me luck!
@@redkingeye You'll be amazed...tight band and Rick's an absolutely KILLER player !!!
thanks for reinforcing our constant notion to buy more strymon pedals 😅
Can’t wait to see you in the Pacific Northwest!
Edit: Rick, I grew up in Webster; where you?
I think we need an updated rundown for 2024
I concur!
Hopefully they can catch them in Nashville in October
Please
Oh please
I love the enthusiasm from the members. It’s contagious
Love Goose. Great Rig Rundown. I love even more that people are casually hanging out with their pin-pals and bowling in the background. Fantastic!
Too funny that this in a bowling alley !
Great Rig Rundown! These guys are blowing me away! Great songs and great musicianship!
Been searching for a rig rundown of these guys for a while!
definitely some choice gear but their main effect is lots of talent
Please do an updated rig rundown! They'll be in Nashville on Oct 24th. I especially want to see Trevor's bass rig. He has the best tone! Thanks
23:25 Strike! These guys rule, I got real excited from the teasers. Can't wait to see them sometime.
I love their clear commitment to their roles in the band. It definitely shows in their music. Just a great band.
this is what we've needed for a while.... this is IT
I have a funny feeling we will be hearing a lot more about these guys…
They’ve been getting big for some years now. You definitely will.
If you can get down with longer jams, then there is no reason not to get down with Goose. They are pretty accessible too as they don't get out there too far.

Strymon is just so damn good! Love the setup and hearing it live!
This is awesome. Goose is the best!
Fantastic as always, I really would have liked to heard about the keyboards too
They just did one with another channel
Wow that first pedal board is like a perfect dream board. So many cool pedals
Love this inside look. I'm blown away by these guys.

Congrats on the Rig Rundown!

These guys are awesome
“So ready” for this …….
Love goose and the inphluences 😉❤️🍺✌️
I'm super Grateful for Phishes influences.
This band is amazing I love getting lost in their music.
This was a pretty fun one

That’s definitely what it is! Let’s him turn someone up or down if needed
I want to know more about his vocal effects
23:10 his deadpan delivery is so good 😂
I hear that mood pedal and all I think of is "what condition my condition was in".
Take a shot every time Peter says “I love it”
“Scare the kids” lmao
“It was ran over by a car…”
“Do you know who the person was who…”
“Um. I … I did it. I ran it over!” 🤭

My dad was president of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. He was an orchestra conductor as a side hobby
Had a hard time finding this episode. List it on PG!

Are they at a bowling alley?
Sure sounds like it. Maybe doing an old school Rock-n-Bowl like they used to have in Denver in the 90s.
👽🤘
Peter is incredibly talented. The whole band is
12:19 “I love whipping it out when we get weird”
Same Peter…Samez
Any chance we can get an updated rundown? Rick just started using a deluis guitar and new amps since taboose tour.
This was a show about the existence of the shadow self...and the elephantmen hiding inside us all ,,,,,who saw his shadow 👀,,and realized....it was not 100% Sold on Goose...
love goose. love ur show.
I’m finally related to someone who is into music. Rick’s Dad was my cousin.
These guys are blowing up
You tuning in E standard , i love that very much.Old school.
I’m sorry, old school? Lol
@@stewartross13 Why sorry?E standard tuning is old school.
@@stephaneaudet no it’s not lmao

Really would have liked to see how Rick has his piezo system setup… it looks like there’s a female 1/4” that is somehow utilized
Awesome!!!!…. Thank you!!!!!!
is that mirror is for play two keyboard at the same time..?easier to see wheres your right hand on..?
No it’s for visual cues from Rick on transitions
OMG! All I do is play piano and a bit of guitar. Amazing. Humbling.
Peter looks like he's wearing the moustache/glasses disguise Halloween costume
Are they in a bowling alley? I swear I hear pins in the background.
YES

Anyone able to see what pick Rick is using? I’m curious.
Same! You ever figure it out?
Dude, Groucho Marx's grandson is amazing!
Dig the Stones 81-82 tour shirt...is that right?
That Strymon Flint is sick!
Around 42 mins in, is this taking place in a bowling alley? Sounds like someone's throwing stones there...
42:18, sounds like a strike
That Fender is a beast
Goose! ✌️♥️
i'm gonna check these guys out
what version of the lovepedal overdrive does he use?? V2 V3?? Ive seen the black v3 but does it work the same as ricks version???
Peter: This pedal was invented in this country, in this year, by a guy named Gustaf
Rick: I’m not even sure what all these knobs do
I love the dichotomy lmao it works so goddam well
Is that Rick bowling?
I wondering the name of a filter that has the name halcion? halicon? haricon? .... for voice filtering
TC Helicon Play Electric vocal effects processor
Goose is definitely the way !
Went from PRS to Suhr. He knows his rippin' tones
Cool guy. Big talent.
The Timeline at 39:57 reminds me of Small Hours by John Martyn.
Nice sound.
He seems like the nicest dude! Jus sayin. ✊🏽😌
Can anyone tell me what pickups are in Ricks PRS?
The stock Hollowbody II piezo pickups
That mood pedal doesn’t sound like it’s real. It’s so weird. I hope he never loses that patch!
Heyy what’s the device on Ricks Mic stand?
Lovely
He’s coming for you…
I
Me knowing almost nothing bout any of the words they re speaking, like "of course you need the Moogmeister cloud filter looper thingy"
Gooooooooooose!!!!!!
Solitude is Bliss is the tame impala small tone phaser song
Just saw them in KC. Such a killer band! Gooooose!!!
What’s the prs model?
Hollowbody II
@houseofguitars representing the 585!!!
Nice!👍
What about the keyboards?!?
Get it,boy!
does rick use stock pickups?
Probably. Paul has talked about how the pickups in each model are voiced for that particular guitar’s characteristics.
🪿🤙🏽🍻
Compress is a great adjective for a mesa boogie
Rick is adorable

29:22 ha I like it Rich, good philosophy
How are we not talking about petes clav/wurly rig??? Unreal, huge miss.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE
It's "the sauce"!
Bummer when he explains certain pedals sounds deeply but then doesn't demo the actual sound.
