I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

I think that this is great news. Garuga makes some of the highest quality creatures the game has ever seen, and it’s hard to think of any other mod more deserving to make it into official. Ark Additions has always been something a lot of people wanted to be made official, and I’m glad that it’s finally happening.
I do like that the more talented and dedicated creators have a path to both getting paid and having their efforts recognized in the game. It has happened in the past but those times were few and far between.
I’m happy that this is finally happening, but I’m scared about what WC might do to some of our favorite modded dinos. WC says that some of them may see tweaking for ‘balancing and redesign’, which makes me wonder if they plan on nerfing, redesigning, or doing both to Garuga’s dinos once they come to Official

@@angrydrunkengerman2819 They’re most likely nerfing the brachio, but I really hope they don’t nerf everything else too hard. I would really hate if they redesigned everything too, the way they look is just perfect the way it is. Can’t wait for Garuga to finish his Archelon redesign and it looks awesome, but then I have a feeling that WC is gonna screw it and everything else up design-wise.

Releasing mod content into the base game is a good way to keep people coming back. Most live service games have some form of content every two weeks or so and this would be good way to keep people playing.

Fantastic news. Garuga123's dino animations are making the base game's look stiff. Nice to see WC giving the well deserved recognition.
Makes me want to commission an owl. The snow owl cant come soon enough and a non cyborg version would be neat to see.
Some fantastic news dude, always felt like additions creatures suited the base game.
I know not all will agree but a bigger map is not always and a lot of the time not a better map. I loved Rag but it takes so long to go from one end of the map to the other. I think more should be done with below and above instead of stretching it out. Either way time will tell and at least this was a more positive crunch then the lack luster ones of late.

Odd that only the ceratosaurus is being added to the base game, I suppose allot of ark additions creatures are fairly OP, maybe they were trying to keep things casual, or maybe adding all of them was too heavy of a workload. Still awesome to see Garuga's work being immortalized in vanilla, they definitely earned a spot in the base game roster

Personally if they add another ARK Additions creature it will be the Brach or another herbivore from ARK Additions as if they're dropping 2 it would make sense to add 1 of each food type

So questions I have, are all planned Ark Addition mods becoming official creatures? Things like the Deinocheirus, Velociraptor or his science fiction creatures that haven’t yet released? Are ones like the new premium mod being added or money goal creatures like the Suchomimus? Or are all these being added to a different mod series or just left as Ark Additions mod or are just straight up being abandoned? These are questions I need answers to!!

Love the content but really wish they would fix some of the bugs that have been around for a month or so now as well missing resources on scorched can't even find a bee on ofc cuz ppl block the one spawn point.

I’m so happy that they are finally adding ARK: Additions creatures into the base game. It’s basically free low effort content that thousands of people will appreciate. My fingers are still crossed hoping that they add Phoenix breeding (they are more or less flying Magmasaurs anyway so what gives) and something like the Crafting Skill Potion.
Definitely a very big W for ASA, im hoping that they NOT nerf any Ark Additions creatures bc Wilcard is famous for giving nerfs that kill creatures and make them useless (my poor Rhyniognatha, how they massacred you with that horrible nerf)

As someone who has spent a lot of time in the FiveM community, playing and building/developing servers I can't believe its taken this long for Ark Modders to get what they deserve!!! I will happily pay a small one time fee for a Mod I enjoy, and the try it before you buy it would just be a bonus really cause lets face it most Ark players know what they want anyway! I only wish wildcard, nitrado and whom ever else didn' t get take so much but I guess its a chicken and the egg sorta thing modders couldn't mod if the game wasn't developed ... But we all know Mod's is what really made Ark what it is today!!!!

As long as the ceratosaurus spawns slightly less, and has its taming requirements made to not be basically endgame I’ll be fine with it.
It’s always felt way too hard to get for what is essentially a side grade to the Rex or allo in my opinion, but perhaps I’m wrong and it’s not that hard. Either way its power should scale well with taming difficulty to justify taming it.
They also lay eggs that are extraordinary tier sooo...
Ceratos are way stronger than Rexes tho, a full team of 20 Ceratos can kill most bosses in less than 2 mins, while a team of 19 Rexes and a Yuty is a little bit harder

As someone who's never used mods since I was on console in ase, it feels very odd to step into having mods in asa. I like the idea that garuga is having one of his creatures in the base game but I also feel like I'd rather have the game as it was meant to be. Don't get me wrong but I'm very neutral on having mods in the base game... I'm just still getting used to them after all 🤣
Vanilla Ark is boring IMO. On my ASA server I have about 30 mods.

New creatures being added is always a great thing but my concern is always the same, how does this affect spawn rates? I feel the current spawn system in ASE is only suitable for a certain amount of creatures and I presume ASA has the same spawn system. The more creatures added, the more troubling it can become to find certain high-level tames. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have new creatures than not, but I am concerned about spawn rates.
In asa you can't even make creatures spawn more with dino multiplier like you could in ase...
