As someone who is trying to get into both creature design and video game design himself, but struggles with life sapping my energy, you guys are such an inspiration of what a group of people with passion can do. As always, look foward to seeing more.
I just love dinosaurs and I love ark so it makes me so happy to see such talented people come together to 2 things I absolutely love. Keep doing your fantastic work, there will always be someone with something negative to say but I’d expect most people to appreciate what you’re doing and understand with the reasons for delays.
The mod looks very interesting! The dinosaurs are really well designed, both aesthetically and mechanically. Seriously, if this mod goes ahead and gets released, it could really become the number 1 creature mod.

Take as long as you guys need, this is by far the best Ark content. Wait time is not an issue, only your life quality and mod quality, in that order. That being said, the paleo ark tyrannosaurus and giga aren’t the parts of the mod that drew me. They are fantastic remasters that make those creatures as legendary and complex and beautiful and FUN as they deserve, but they aren’t the parts of the mod that excite me. I know they are the flagship creatures that bring most people to paleo ark, but personally, it was the variety of paleo ark that makes me love it: the smilodon, the moschops, the Parasaur, the spino, Kentrosaurus - the staggering beauty and variation paleo ark brings to every level of creature makes me fall in love with it, not the (admittedly phenomenal) glow up to the dinosaur equivalent of popular cheerleaders. I know when you guys finish up with the giga and tyrannosaurus they will somehow be even better than they are now and the gameplay will be incredible, but it’s all of the other guys that make me check for updates every day. Take your time, know that we appreciate all the work you do, and know that we love the little projects just as much as the big ones. Take care, Becca, and thank you❤️.
I'd absolutely love to watch more speed sculpts! I just finished a 3D sculpting class with ZBrush, so watching this and actually understanding what was going on was a nice treat! Amazing work, keep it up!

I do hope you all get picked up by Wildcard or some other studio to work on games, full time with the same level of control you have here. Honestly the stuff you guys are releasing surpasses industry standards by an impressive degree.
Considering these creatures u guys create are almost 1000x better than their vanilla counterparts, the design, the movement, the sound, the textures, i honestly don't understand why people can't wait for things to release. I guess not everyone understands that people making these amazing mods is not their job but a hobby. Take as much time as u guys need and we will appreciate every minute that was spent put into these creatures.
Hey darkedge, does up still intend to release the paleo version for diplodocus? I remember he had announced the paleo version of diplodocus for Ark Survival Evolved before ASA.

When you say that there may be TLC for the diplo in the future, you are not referring to Seismosaurus, right? although the seismosaurus is clearly a diplodocus, both should have different names, the diplodocus could gain its TLC with new animations, texture improvements, a larger size in terms of its height and length... and the seismosaurus could come as if its species had existed more separately from the diplo.
As someone who doesn't play ark, I'm just excited to see so many beautifully sculpted and animated dinos in videos Plus, the amazing sound effects Also, I quite enjoyed seeing the sculpting process of the mosa

I know this question is going to sound silly, but will there be a way to have it so that Rex and Giga spawns won't be directly replaced, but spawn alongside their vanilla counterparts? I only ask because I still have a soft spot for the OG Giga lol! Love how everything looks so far!!
Thanks! No I don't believe there will be a way to allow both to spawn alongside each other, although I'm sure there will be additional third-party mods like Simple Spawns (soon) or anything by EclipseModding that'll allow some flexible options

I have huge respect for you guys since yall have to come up with ideas, make the model, animate, code, and release within a certain date which to be honest I could never do Like ever since I started a coding class in my school i’ve realized how hard that’s stuff really is since I took me 4 whole days to complete a ping pong game and it still sucked 😂
One thing id ask is that if something accidently happens with the mod and it arks the dinos out of existence, would there be a way to revert the swap incase something happens or the mod wouldnt be wanted on a server anymore? Not that id ever want to do that but just incase?
Hey! So generally speaking, you want to back up your world saves anyway if you ever use mods at all. If you ever used or heard of Structures Plus in ASE, you've prob heard of the horrors of NOT backing up and losing your entire base with each update 😂 There probably won't (or can't?) be any safeguards for if something accidentally happens. But if you wanted to specifically remove the mod, then I thiiiink we do plan on allowing reverse conversions as well
@DarkEdgeTVSurvival a option for if anything happens to the mod the dinos revert to the asa versions that would be highly appreciated by me and all who breed and such. Please consider it 😭❤️

Y’all are literally killing it. The seamless nature of these creatures (giga and rex so far) in game is unparalleled by most other modders imo. We're doing a complete TLC of it instead in the future so it was scrapped unfortunately! But the one we're gonna make is gonna be even better!

Still waiting for the crossplay to be approved of the Giga and the rex. Once that phase is done im sure it will release within the week

Not an ARK guy so I don't really have anything to say regarding the Paleo mod beyond you guys are doing amazing work so take all the time you need, but I would very much like to see more sculpt timelapses in the background of this kind of news/update video, gives something visual to keep your attention :D
Plus that Mosa looks great even if it's a scrapped design
