It's been brought to my attention that there is a key & chest in the Reignited version. As of right now I haven't played the Reignited Trilogy so I tried looking up for myself about the key & chest. Unfortunately I didn't see anyone who found a key (or even a locked chest for that matter) so in the end I'm still not able to help you. Sorry!
5:31 is the last second of the video, but I assume you're talking about the jump at 5:00. If so then it's probably because I actually jump just before reaching the edge rather than just simply running off. If you just run off the edge then your jump will be just a little too short to reach the other side, but if you actually jump off the edge then you can go farther.
@@jessicaduke7853 Try to slightly alter how you jump off such as by jumping a little earlier or trying to jump off at a slightly different angle. Eventually the game should cooperate & allow you to do what you're trying to do. Alternatively if you're playing the original version of this game then you can reach the far area by using the cave in front of you (the one I fly into at 2:08). If you can't fly directly to this cave (because of the problem you're having) then use the cave to the left to reach it like I do in the video. Flying from this cave to the far area can be a bit tricky, but I just tried it out & was able to do it. If you're playing the remake then you can still give this a try, but I can't confirm whether or not this works for that version.
@@EmptyGarbageCan I'm playing the original and I totally forgot how often that process is going to be necessary lol I'm at tree top now and REALLY struggling on the highs and tricks here. Lol.

There is no key in High Caves.

I figured it out, you have to use the super charge to break the chest.

It’s so hard I barely got over and I went the easiest way I could think of
