This is your best wedding film, I absolutely love how classy everything is. From the shots, to the scenery, music, and the bride / groom 🤍. The whole atmosphere feels like a movie. Amazing wedding and amazing work capturing it.
'You walked in 2, you walk out 1' this statement is so profound. That is the godly mystery of marriage. May the Lord bless their union in Jesus's name.
Okay......now I'm 2 years late with my comment. It is my hope, no my prayer, that when this couple encounters a rough patch. A relationship set back. That rare instance they might consider a "I don't think I want to do this anymore" moment". They should be hog tied in a room together and forced to watch this documentary and confession for love for one another. There was a reason why they decided to make this commitment. This film makes the case to remember and renew. What a beautiful testimony to not forget what love looks like. This form of wedding storytelling is now the Gold Standard for modern event photographers.
So beautifully put together from start to finish. Powerful speeches with an amazing combination of cinematic cuts and music both from the ban, singers, and other “background” music that fit so perfectly. The editing was top notch, just breathtaking. Love how you interspersed the speeches with close-ups of the family and friends and all the little details of preparing for that day. Love the aerial drone shots. Love how you tell the whole story of their incredible wedding day. THIS is how all wedding videos should be shot. Short, covering all of the precious moments, and visually stunning, all the while telling a compelling story they can relive through eternity. So happy for the couple and wish them a lifetime of happiness.
@@screammachineman Most wedding videographers charge between 4K to 7K and many don't come anywhere close to the level of this company. I follow quite a few wedding videographers on TH-cam. I find very few that "tell the story" as well as The Film Poets do. It's a once in a lifetime chance to get it right, sure they are more expensive than others, but the old saying of "you get what you pay for" seems to apply well here.
@@tecwzrd Sorry just read your response! As an 8 year vet of the wedding cinema industry, I have to disagree that 'most' wedding videographers charge 4k-7k. Most, meaning above 50%, charge around the $2k mark or less, per client. This has been true for decades and it's re-enforced by all the 'how much did you spend on wedding video' that couples fill out post wedding that are online. You absolutely get what you pay for, completely agree. Remember that as we watch these films online, and join in on the forums, the people in those forums represent only the top 25% that are trying to get better. I've been following FP since 2014, so trust me when I say, I know what these two can do :)
@@screammachineman well said, I meant wedding videographers of this level IMO charge 4-7k. To get this level of quality you really need 2+ people to cover multiple angles, about 5k+ in equipment, and a full day of editing. I've seen great videos from people who charge less, but that is the exception and not usual IMO.
The God they were praying 🙏 too I need to ❤️ start to pray to him because clearly I have been praying to the wrong God that blessings people with beautiful spouses like These
Lovely couple, vows, and video! Really brought me to happy tears. Congrats to the couple! Sending so much love to them. And thank you so much for recording and sharing their wonderful moments ✨❤️
Dude! Visuals, aerials, flow, timing, color, sound, music,... Every aspect of this film is on point! Thanks for sharing and helping to inspire us to keep creating beautiful films like this 😎🎥👊🏼
This is one of the most beautiful and touching wedding videos I've seen. You both seem to be wonderful people. Wishing you lots of love and happiness. ❤
You guys are amazing. You're truly blessed in this craft, and I hope to be able to tell a story the same way in my wedding videos one day. Loved everything about this!
Four seasons, You know I love it, you guys NO let me take a quote from Porter (Praying to god whos selfless kind and who can make them the best person that I am ) you guys together are doing that, and GOD has abudenlty answer your prayer. May you take time to slow down and make new memories, hug and just go on new dates. So in the words of Porter start many more 4 seasons. Many blessings to your marriage and families. PS man thats a nice rolex, I love a good watch...
Incredible - as always! I love how your editing is anything but chronological, and how wonderfully that tells the story of the entire day. It seems counterintuitive, but I guess when your goal is to recreate the FEELING of the moment, it's more about how the visuals and soundtrack support the VO, almost regardless of when they actually occurred during the day itself. As I said... incredible, guys! 💙
Thank you Brian. Such a kind comment. I like to call this type of editing "Threading" - The weaving together of multiple events, regardless of their chronological order, in a way that is more engaging than if you experienced them sequentially.
You guys always seem to consistently produce work that puts yourself on another level compared to any other wedding filmmaker I've seen. Incredibly well done!
Wow you are just the best wedding filmmaker! But seriously: How are you recording? The audio quality is just insane! I almost have the feeling you are working like in Hollywood, mics hanging over the people and audio guys jumping around :-D How?!
The trick with audio is the post-processing. We used to be musicians, so vocal processing was a big deal to us. I’ve been sharing my audio presets with some other wedding filmmakers and they seem to really like it. I plan to release it alongside with a TH-cam tutorial, stay tuned. -Matt
Hey, I think I know what you're asking - Does this film look this way because of the camera? - right? If so, I'd say that the camera itself plays a roll, but not a large one. Lighting, composition, movement, choice of focal lengths and sound all play a larger roll in the feel of a film in my opinion. The a6500 is a great camera. Although it has a unique look, you can make beautiful films with it. Have fun. -Matt
@@thefilmpoets Yes, that's right you think, precisely because of the camera. I looked at a lot of videos to achieve such a picture, as in the movie. may need anamorphic lens or expensive lenses, various plug-ins, luts, although helios 44-2 is close to this effect. I just often noticed that cannon is closer to the cine picture. Music and all the other factors you listed are right. but if I take these rules into account, I still don’t even get close to what u have in this video.
