    Thank you Rinpoche for the clear teaching on the power of holy words- the pure expression of Buddhas’ compassion and wisdom . Power of mantras also depends on the state of mind of the practitioner.
    With this understanding, recitation of these holy words will be carried out with strong faith generated by practitioners based on knowledge.

    Giving a baby a crystal glass is a wonderful metaphor for the Guru giving a vow to soon!

      Yes, some examples similar in nature is giving tantric teachings to unqualified students is likened to putting a baby by itself on a horse.

    I am a Chinese Buddhist n according to our believe, the Buddha statue has to be blessed n gone through the 'Buddha spirit entry ' ceremony, before the statue has the power. If you put a buddha statue without being blessed, that is an empty statue, no spirit, no power, no effect against negative energy.

    Animals don't think only for themselves. In fact, many are more selfless than humans.

    • @wanwaimeng
      @wanwaimeng 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, some animals in packs, and an animals like Rexie the dog in Australia, sometimes their selflessness goes beyond normal perception. th-cam.com/video/G2hFuMhh658/w-d-xo.html&lc=Ugxjd9Agb4kt9mlqOBl4AaABAg

    Do you think anyone could be perfect for 1 day? I mean, besides you Rinpoche. If you do one thing right all day do you get points?

    The stuff about various gods being best for specific spiritual condition is quite 'curious' to me coming from the Christian tradition where everone gets the same Guru - God through Jesus Christ: JC left lots of teachings and then we just all work on those with varying degrees of success. There is nothing about how it depends what type of person one starts with, but which teachings will be the most helpful probably varies with the personality & issues started with or phase of life conditions.

    My assumption of enlightenment was that if a being was enlightened they would unify completely with Brahman either instantly or when they decided to leave. But I didn't realize that enlightened beings chose reincarnation in a samsaric realm. Does this mean they are in samsara still? or because of their enlightened state, are these beings able to stay enlightened through reincarnation?

      Hi! ZionRebirth.Tello. Highly attained lamas, they can choose to be reincarnated to who, where and when. They are in total control of their death and rebirth. Yes, they chose to be born in our world in order to liberate beings from samsara. Even though Highly attained lamas lived amongst us in this tainted world, due to accumulations of great merits from their past lives, they remain pure.
