@@LaughNgamez What you really should do is make a separate Chanel specifically for AlphaStar games that way I feel like more people will subscribe because the AS games aren't mixed in with the human games and visa versa
Humans seem to be weaker at multi tasking and at seeing the entire starcraft map at once. Humans don't seem to macro as well or to be able to focus on multiple battles at different locations on the map. Computers though are very good at these things. And computers can have impossibly high click rates and they can see the entire map at once. Artificially restricting the computer's ability here is not really allowing it to compete in a True manner. What I would really like to see is a TRUE battle between humans and alphastar in a PvP match. The game should pit the best version of Alphastar 'Protoss' against several grand master level Protoss players all controlling the same 'Protoss' army. This means that the human side can better control all the units on the map (like a computer can) and allows one human for example to focus on macro and expansion, while another human to control one set of army units, and yet another human to control another set of army units that might be focused on harrassing for example. Alphastar must not be artificially restricted in this battle. It should have unlimited click rates and should be allowed to see the entire map at once without needing to scroll the screen viewer to it. This would more accurately simulate a battle of Robot AI vs Human (like in the Terminator movies). PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN GOOGLE ALPHA STAR DEVELOPMENT TEAM!
You mention in the video that these battles are played by one of the earlier versions of AlphaStar. Wish you were more specific by mentioning approximately or better if available exactly when these battles were played, especially by writing them down in the description part of the video below. Any further details such as version of AlphaStar if available would be helpful as well as a link to the original video. Same suggestion for all AlphaStar video battles.
Nah it was actually due to the superhuman micro skills from AlphaStar. Watch that again in slow motion and you'll see how it always pulls away drones before they die and at the end it's left with lots very heavily damaged drones but very few dead. If they didn't micro and just died fighting, then it would have been a much different story.
Is there still good players who think that proxy are any faster then building in the base ? if the unit produced is as fast as the builder, it doesn't make any difference on the timing, it just make the proxy more vulnerable.
I thought Alpha Star was pretty much the best player there ever was when watching the first 10 games they released. Did they dum it down or did they limit its ability to micro? I remember it microd in a superhumen way attacking from 3 sides simontaneously while blinking back hurt units.

For some reason I’m not as interested in the pro games and it’s not you it’s just I would rather see how an AI thinks and shapes the potential future of how strategies are played. Ex. Btw, this is not alphastar full potential. The AI itself has built in restrictions to simulate human limitations. An unhinged Alphastar can probably fight a few GMs at once.

dont think the first game was alphastar... never seen alphastar make those units whatever those long range air units are, also dont know about the floating 2k minerals.. alphastar has never floated 2k minerals.... havent ever seen that.
You should add empty content in the ens of the video. When its less than 10min left on the video and the current score is 2-1 you already know how it will end. By adding time in the end of the video you Will keep it exiting longer...
