exactly why i didn't buy it this year. Its sad to see sports games turn into what they are today. Zero creativity. The presentation in 2k games have been the same for the last 10 years. 2k doesn't want to make the game "fun", they want to take your money. I hope they fail and fail and fail again. And it's not that they cant afford to make the game great, they just don't want to. They don't listen to the community. I remember when I was 12 playing 2k15 and thinking, "I cant wait to see what nba games will look like in 10 years" just to find out that nothing has changed ever since. Give us a more personalized my career experience, give us unique intros, locker rooms, and entranceE tunnels for every teams stadium. EA did it for 150 teams in CFB 25, 2K CANT DO IT FOR 30 TEAMS??????? Let us start in high school, and play every single game if we want to. Let us go to draft process, chose an agent, personalize our social media page / marketing approach. Theres so many ways to make this game more immersive, yet they beg us to spend 50 dollars on a digital gallery dept. t shirt lmaoooo. Instead of upgrading your player immediately when you earn VC, let us hold off and create a realistic progression path that mirrors real-life player development. This game has simply turned into "pay to win" with nerds who sit at their computer all day trying to find the cheesiest combos, jumpshots, and player builds. Not everyone wants to play 2k for competition, some of simply play it because we love basketball. Why cant 2k use AI tech to allow us to respond to fans, reporters, coaches, and teammates. Let us respond to press conferences in ways that actually align with our character's persona. We should be able to use our mic to speak, or simply type to speak however we want, ITS 2024 BRO, 2K HAS ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY AT THEIR FINGER TIPS BUT WONT INNOVATE, ITS SAD.
@@dramavstheworld if you go watch the presentation of some of these early 2000s sports games, its literally night and day. Games were so creative back in the day because everyone wanted to make the best game. 2k and madden now dont have to try cause no one is competing against them
you’re so right about nobody wanting to play as a team. I play as a Center/PF so i can catch rebounds/putbacks and screen for my teammates/pass it to elevate my PG/SG. Then I get yelled at for screening. And on top of that, the person who doesn’t want screens goes 3 for 10. If you don’t want screens, play 1v1s. We’re playing as a TEAM. everyone wants to ISO every game. 😭

Ill always said the main thing besides 2ks greed is not the game its the way ppl choose to play it online the exploits and meta cheese and selfishness. Play offline My Eras the game play is great with a few tweaks to sliders. Soon as i go online the game is trash to me because now im amongst the community .. I had server issues until i got fiber internet which i shouldn't have to.. COD can have 150 players running around shootin and jumping and its on point. Battlefield 2042 64 vs 64 and its no lag. 2k 10 players on the court and glitches out, park too.
All facts and the player base on 2k doesn’t choose to play any game but 2k so they don’t even understand that what they’re giving us is trash and unacceptable in 2024.
2k needs to become like war zone and separate park from the base game and let players who actually want to do a fun Mycareer without the my builder and park shit.
I also have a wired connection and I have the same latency and lag issues. I have 2 games over 10 years old and have no lag or latency issues .. fix your old crap 2k
