Politics, Society and Current Debates in Georgia

In addition to our existing programming to support democracy education and political party institutionalization, we decided to launch a new educational program about Georgian politics and society, specifically having international business, diplomatic and donor communities in mind.
To us, this seems like a valuable contribution, especially with the significant political and international developments engulfing Georgia these years. The program is designed with a clear purpose in mind: to help Georgia’s crucial partners better support Georgia and succeed by having a fuller and deeper understanding of its dynamic and complex modern history, political evolution, and culture.
For this, we designed a special, fully customizable training program. But it is much more than a training program. Rather, it is an immersive storytelling exercise on how Georgia evolved and what shapes its present. Told by people with deep insights into Georgia and the eyewitnesses of defining moments of Georgia’s modern history and identity. It offers an in-depth expert overview of the evolution and formation of Georgian politics and society since its independence in 1918 till up to modern times. The program covers the key events, developments, conflicts, personalities, experiences and ideas that shaped the country and continue to do so today.
