Thanks Francis. Pack weight varies from about 11kg to 16kg. It depends a bit on how much water I'm carrying and if I've got a tent etc. Lots of people travel lighter, but I'm in the betterr safe than sorry group, so I always have a bit of extra gear.
Thanks, Lakez. Most of this was shot on an Insta360 x2. The odd bit (mostly the close ups) were on a Samsung phone and the time-lapse from a Sony RX100.
Very clever videography Kev, really enjoyed being with you on your adventure
Thanks, Dave. The magnificent scenery made it much easier to film.
Beautiful forest, ridgelines, snowy field. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you enjoyed it
Great video thanx
Glad you enjoyed it
Another enjoyable vid. Keep them coming!
Good to hear you're enjoying them, Rob.
Great stuff - cool to see the descent from Kelly tops is doable. Nice going!
Thanks, James. The descent is definitely doable. Just aim for the northern most tarn (the one on the right), not gor right between them like I did.
Stunning!
It's a fantastic bit of New Zealand - even better with a bit of snow and a bright sunny day
Stunning loop Kev, thanks for the video
Thanks, ReviloNZ. I was lucky to have such cracking weather on all three days.
Beautiful video and new subscribers here!! Great share!❤Zack & Linda
Thanks, Zack and Linda. You need to get over to New Zealand to do some RV'ing.
Love the video guys, well done
Thanks for the feedback, Brian. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed it.
Really enjoy your videos - time to dust off my pack.
Thanks, Carole. Hope you get a few good tramps in before winter.
Great video Kev. Stunning landscape. Amazing to watch.
I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed watching it, Dylan. I was lucky to get up on the tips of the Kelly Range on such a spectacular day.
Thank you Kev, Inspiring video.
Just wondering, how heavy roughly is your pack? 19:27

Great footage and scenery 👏 What do you use to film everything?
