- DIY Sequential taillights with LED 1157 bulbs. Use delay relays to wire sequential lights for the Scott Drake three bulb taillight conversion. With the added 1157 socket adapter the kit becomes plug and play. No need to cut or modify your existing car harness. Hello again Negan, put the bat down, I come in peace sir. I have already done the Scott Drake 3 bulb conversion on my 67 Gt. Looks good! I came back to this video and think I will go with the 1157 Led bulbs and viewed your kit on Ebay to purchase. Your kit is just what I need (not that good at wiring), GREAT price I might add. Do I still need to purchase a turn signal plug n play under the dash flasher unit? Thanks much, appreciate your channel and knowledge concerning this stuff. Cheers from Motown/Dearborn.
Yes, it would be a good idea to purchase the flasher too. It will still work without it but all three bulbs might not flash because the hyper flash shortens the flash time, almost by half. Also there are two flashers. One for the lights and the other is the emergency flasher. Purchase the one from my link and it is located behind the cluster Not the one by the light switch. My video on hyper flash details the install.

Another great video. The 3 bulb kit is $45. How much were those relays? How does this compare to flat panel LED kits?
I get the relays and supplies like connectors, wire and adapters bulk overseas. The 3 bulb kit plus my kit would be $80. With this you can keep them incandescent or go LED. Plus I think it looks better then the flat panel LED kits. I don't like seeing a bunch of little dots with the panels. I just love to tinker.
