Cloud was never physically weak. The OG makes an entire point about that when he admits to never making SOLDIER. Barret says you seem pretty damn strong to me. Cloud says he was as strong as SOLDIER but his body rejected the Jenova cells. I think a lot of people missed the entire point. Cloud was not weak. He was a special case, abnormally strong and also immune. Only his fragmented psyche allowed Sephiroth and Jenova to have influence over him

Whether or not he was physically or mentally weak before said experimentation doesn't matter as he couldn't possibly be anywhere near as strong as Zack or Sephiroth . Many customers then started to run out the restaurant with fear while some just stood there in complete shock. Aerith, returning from the bathroom, was met with a horrifying sight: Cloud's lifeless body on the floor. She rushed to him, holding him tightly, but the reality of his loss hit her hard. Tears streamed down her face as she realized that Cloud would never speak, laugh, or smile again.

I've got a better theory...Cloud is actually a character in a game, he is not actually strong it's just the game decides that he is strong. As proven by the fact that when a party member died he can revive them with Phoenix Down, but when Aerith died in the Forgotten City he can't.
I think Cloud is dead. I think his being on the edge of creation is the last seven seconds of his life, trying to get rid of Jenova, while it makes a full assault on Clouds spirit trying to overtake it and enter the lifestream. Since in thr original game Cloud wasthe last person with Jenova Cells. So Jenova is doinf ehat Jenova does best. Trying to impersonate a loved one aka mask her entry by wearing clouds spirit. Aeris (i use this name to distinguish that there is original timeline Aerith, and i use the real spelling, to show current timeline) so Aeris is in the promised land waiting, and knows Cloud is coming. Clouds just in the midst of having his Jenova Cells removed, and in order to take him over Jenova has to break him down, and if he believes that Aerith is truly lost because he will be told these extra timelines dont exist, it will break the man and allow Jenova to over take him. Just like in thr original when he gave the black materia over. I believe this is the case because what Aeris says to him in the church before pushing him through the portal and away from Sephiroth... "Its about saving you... And the world." Like the world is just an after thought because she knows how it ended for the world. But saving Cloud is a whole other levwl because if he loses this battle Clouds gone for good and Sephiroth wins. 😉 Also in the original Soldiers werent given Jenova cells, it was only Mako showers. Only Hojos duper special ones got that treat. Which is why Zack and Cloud were injected. In the original Zack fought them off and rejected them. It wasnt until Crisis Core that soldiers were All given Jenova Cells. Its crazy that is overlooked.
That's a complex theory. I don't particularly like the multiversal aspects of stories because it can become very messy. I do plan on unraveling the whole thing. As it does have some serious implications for the future. Thank you for sharing and watching!

I feel you might have made a few assumptions on your scientific examination of Cloud's condition. I found your version of the ff7 story more interesting than the actual original story, however I do not feel as though this is the case. The original concept of the game never had such an inception vibe from it's creators; if we ignore that then one may as well say every story is like never waking up. Also in the original Soldiers werent given Jenova cells, it was only Mako showers. Only Hojos duper special ones got that treat. Which is why Zack and Cloud were injected. In the original Zack fought them off and rejected them. It wasnt until Crisis Core that soldiers were All given Jenova Cells. Its crazy that is overlooked.
That's a complex theory. I don't particularly like the multiversal aspects of stories because it can become very messy. I do plan on unraveling the whole thing. As it does have some serious implications for the future. Thank you for sharing and watching!

I feel you might have made a few assumptions on your scientific examination of Cloud's condition. I found your version of the ff7 story more interesting than the actual original story, however I do not feel as though this is the case. The original concept of the game never had such an inception vibe from it's creators; if we ignore that then one may as well say every story is like never waking up. Before you know it; the Earth is flat and we all live inside a black hole called, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

A world that uses magic and "life energy" to power a microwave definitely does not abide with logical reasoning. Cloud is the protagonist of a fantasy game, he is the hero. That is all there is to it to justify him surviving.
