In an 2011 interview with Yuzo Koshiro (right after the release of EOIV) he talks about his wish to work with an EDM artist. I think he made it a reality when he composed the OST for 7D 2020 (1,2,3). Fantastic series - I can only thank the crew behind the translation patch.
Truly a hidden gem, i haven't played 7th dragon III but i already downloaded some soundtracks, (spoiler) the one where you fight with emille is banger, i don't know what happened in the history in order to make emille fight you but seems epic! After i end up playing with all classes in the second game i'll play the other, for the moment i'm going to pass the game for third time.
To be honest, I really don't like how the DIVA themes in 2020 are, with the exception of 2 or so, just Miku humming along to the theme. 2020-II made her actually sing, which I really liked.
i mean considering the dialogue are mostly unvoiced with few voice sample, lyrics in bgm can be very distracting. In the end i dont like Diva mode except shibuya and roaming dragon theme.

Yuzo was overshadowed by vocaloid producers. I mean i played this series because of sasakure.
Atleast they don't give you the chance to play the DIVA ost at the start of the game, in order to listen to the normal soundtrack.
