      I absolutely loved the volume! It’s a great mousse, but next time I’m gonna have to use it with the bamboo ginseng glaze or the papaya slip because while I love volume, I also love a little more definition.

    I used this mousse last week with wet line extreme gel for a wash and go. I loved it. It dried really fast and gave me day three hair for all 6 days. Day three is my favorite day after I wash. It did however become
    dry and frizzy on day 6 but that was only after a very hectic weekend. I will use this mousse whenever I want a fast drying wash and go with day 3 hair instantly. Oh and my hair smelled really good all week.

    On their website they explain that the mousse is actually a base and not meant to be used as a standalone styling product. They explain that the mousse is supposed to be applied and then layered with EITHER the curling glaze or the potion. You can find this info on the education tab of the Trepadora site. Would loooove to see a video of a properly layered combo.

    I personally wear and use my bonnet to stretch my hair by placing my bonnet on top of my hair stretching my hair down where my ends stick out the bottom and I’ll kinda pull it out/down more…. Though I don’t pull too tight as not to cause too much frizz

  • @JustTanoe
    @JustTanoe ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for sharing. I haven't used it alone. I don't think it would hold a candle to my tight curls, but I would probably get a soft fluffy fro. When you pulled it up into a puff, it looked really cute.

    Hair is giving VOLUME!!!!!!! what are your thoughts on gel vs cream vs moose? Which do you prefer?

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Right now I prefer gel. I’ll eventually be doing a gel + mousse series and a cream series, but for now the most reliable wash and go’s I’ve had are gel wash and go’s. As well as a gel with a cream or a mousse but the common denominator is gel.

    This one actually surprised me. While I love the results on you, it's not nearly as defined as what i thought it would be, especially when you said it was more concentrated than the douxs mousses and for it's price, so it really wasn't going to last long. I'd be curious how it would come out when paired with another product tho! Maybe it would be a one-product wash and go for wavy hair or silky textured type 3s

    Our hair is damn near identical and I dead ass out of morbid curiosity because your hair journey is like mine 2 years ago lol. I feel like you're finally starting to question your loyalty to Custard's and Mousses. I can also tell you're hitting that wall where you're looking for a more convenient process so I'm patiently waiting for you to get steered back into thick gels (Yup, the ones in a tub) and plain ole leave ins cus they just work imo.
    That said, I wanna say thank you for posting your L's lmao. It's tricky because I feel like we have that 3c or 4c situation where our shit is just THICC and regardless of curl pattern, we need those thicc stylers that sort of just grip and lay curls and do the work for us.
    PS: I really want to talk you into a combo, Camile Rose Aloe Butter Gel with the Keracare Gelessence line (they're all good gels but moisturizing is the best). 1.. They're literally 4.49$ and 2.. they're crunch free with no flakes and massive definition for me and it's just nice to have soft defined hair that you can touch. Lawd I sound like an add but no cap, I will literally venmo you the proceeds just to bring you back to our roots.
    PSS: Imma laugh when you come full circle and pick up that Red Eco Styler and realize after all these high end product L's that it wasn't even that bad after all lmao

      @@BrittanyMiaI’m not sure which method the original commenter uses but for me, I preserve my wash and gos by sectioning my hair into 4 large sections and doing LOOSE twists with a scrunchie on the end to keep the twist in place. I use a silk pillow case because I find that wearing a bonnet compresses the hair too much, which leads to me needing to do more fluffing in the morning, which creates more frizz & less longevity.
