Congrats! What are the rules on the first penalty these days, is there like a double jeopardy thing where you don't get a red if it a penalty? Was the defender even booked?

It's only red of its straight Dangerous play or denying obvious opportunity to score WITHOUT attempting to play the ball. A caution and a pen are correct as there is a covering defender re a dogso but even if there wasn't, it would still be a caution imo as it seems there's an attempt to play the ball. Outside the box it's different. Yes I'm a ref and yes it's confusing and yes we have to process all permutations in fractions of a second with 22 players, 2 benches and the crowd all 'helping us'.
