Australia wins gold in the Women's 4x100m Medley Relay | Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games

Featuring a stellar line-up of two-time gold medallist Dyana Calub, 10-time gold medallist Leisel Jones OAM, nine-time gold medallist Petria Thomas OAM and four-time gold medallist Jodie Henry OAM, the Australia team was poised for victory in one of the blue riband events at the Manchester 2002 Games.
Facing tough competition from the South African foursome and the English team supported by a raucous home crowd, the Australian team performed under pressure to win gold.
With Jodie Henry OAM surging the team home with a stellar time of 54.15 seconds in the final freestyle leg for the team to finish with a then Commonwealth Games record time of 4:03.70.
