In This Week in MXA episode 155, presented by O'Neal, The KTM factory effort has received a couple of new faces as Chase Sexton and Julien Beaumer join the orange ranks. We caught up with the two as well as Aaron Plessinger and Tom Vialle to pick their brains on the upcoming 2024 season and find out what's new with the 2024 lineup. MXA's Josh Mosiman talks to the riders and we even managed to capture some riding footage while we were at it.

Man I think all of us (Americans Atleast) felt that when he went down and then his interview after when he was pretty much in tears. I don’t see him getting one but man I hope I’m wrong.

I'm not writing off Plessinger either. He almost smoked em last year. He can get back to that I do believe. Beaumer is new on the scene... gonna be interesting... I announced Davi Millsaps racing in FL as well as RC & Bubba. Still friends with his Dave Millsaps. I think Tom Vialle can win some rds and contend a SX Regional Title... What are the new changes for the factory edition?? Would like an in depth vid on that! Have they solved the whoops for all the riders or did they need the rider (chase) to make the bike
They are all running stock style fork tubes now got that flexy back
@@lukekelly5115 so no factory 52mm cones they run in mxgp? I heard Tom vialle saying on Europe they could run the factory 52 with springs but in USA has to run the 52 with air like the production bike and he prefers spring
@@E63s_Scott they don't look to be on 52s anymore and I would not be surprised if they are running stock fork tubes with an aer air spring in one side and a spring cartridge in the other, you can make a hybrid fork do damn near factory stuff at home
The only change is another price increase.

If I'm being honest, just listening to Sexton answer the questions....from the standpoint of what he said, how he said it and his body language, it doesn't seem like he's to keen on the KTM at this point. The new Chassis has been a big letdown for the pro riders and isn't great for Supercross (better for Motocross). I would have loved to see him on a Kawi to be honest.
I feel like AP is so inconsistent on this bike. Some days he’s just flying out in front and other days he can’t get out of 7th. Hoping he gets the bike dialed this year to run up front

When I rode I liked using pointer for front brake and middle for clutch. Don’t have long fingers so pointer was a little hard to use on the clutch

It’s too bad they’re gonna get beat, since they’ve got a really nice team. Chase will probably get 3-5, Plessinger probably 7-12 place.
