PrimosCanada Like the guys above said, I've seen some horrendous interviews (like that TMZ guy with the Warrior that asked, "what's the sitch?").
This is the first time I've heard of you guys and it was a breath of fresh air. I'm def looking forward to these intelligent type of interviews going forward.

2 greats Sean had the looks. Bret was a weird looking fella. Face like a hound dog. Stringy old lady hair.
He kind of gave the impression of almost a hobo putting on a pair of tights and I think a lot of fans related to that more.

Shit Man Shart is a good man. I met him shook his hand and told him I was a huge fan. And then I put my shades on him. He went in for a hug and I kind of just tapped him on his shoulder.
I walked away. And I realized I had left my half of hot dog and my soda on his table. I came back 20 seconds laters and he was popping the last bite of my Chicago dog.
And I looked at him. Like ??? And he said to me. “ I asked if you were gonna eat that”
As his drank the last bit of soda that was left.
It was just a bizarre situation. Who would eat a strangers hot dog with a bite and a half and his almost finished soda.
I actually lost a lot of respect for him over that.

I can't say enough how much bret Hart saved my young life I was getting into all kinds of shit I never had any good male role models my own so called dad was like a black cloud that come over and ruin the vibe in our house growing up the only good male role model was my uncle but wasn't always around but when he was he introduced me to professional wrestling used to bring tapings of Wwf superstars in the early 1990s and before then I remember watching Wwf main event which was on free TV in the late 1980s and the wrestlers were Hulk hogan and randy savage I never liked hogan even though everyone in my school did I always preferred machoman randy savage and he was a heel then it wasn't on free TV fast forward to 1991 my uncle brought tapes he recorded and the first match I saw and remember was bret hitman Hart vs milliondoller man Ted dibiase and it was a double count out then first ppv I saw was summerslam 91 and saw bret Hart beat Mr perfect for the intercontinental title I was hooked on bret Hart and believed in him

My wife had a bad concussion in a car accident and had similar things happen, where she would forget entire conversations she had the day before and repeat herself all the time. People couldn't understand what was going on with her. She was not a wrestling fan but watched this interview and just starting crying at the part when Bret talked about the aftermath of his concussion. It gave her some relief to know other people have these things happen and that someone in his position would talk about it openly. Love you Hitman, don't ever change.

The only thing I'd like to add is that I don't think anyone is questioning the wrestling and the quality of the matches that are taking place. There are SO many good wrestlers, but the problem is the storytelling for those wrestlers. As much as the in ring skill is important, the story telling is equally as important , but the ''creative'' staff has failed the fans and have gotten incredibly lazy in booking the wrestlers.

One thing I’m not sure I agree with Bret on is the brain damage vs mma. I’ve been in the ring with pro wrestlers…. Even big bumps rattle the Brain - although you “get used to it”, I was told and it stops hurting. Though one pro told me even if he takes a week off, his head might hurt the first night or two back. I’m not sure chronic low level damage is any better than one or two knockouts…. And if you’re lucky and good, you may not face many or any knockouts. We just remember the really bad ones so those Memories standout.

Josh Lavian Exactly. People say he’s bitter but man he has great reason to be and as the years go on we see the old Bret more and more. Leaving WWF in 97,his brother dying in 98,Goldberg ending his career in 99/2000,his stroke, his parents dying,Bret has truly weathered a storm and gets a lot of shit from ppl. Even looking back at his career,it was GREAT but it could have been soooo much more without so many hiccups.

He's been through alot not just a stroke he's lost his parents and brothers, plus going through prostate cancer and having to have surgery for is slot do deal with but! My idol is going on strong and I am proud of him to keep going on for his fans and family he has showed us that he is a true warrior that won a battle and is not afraid

I remember the funk hard-core match, i was a total mark for Bret in wwf, but I hated the way they booked him in wcw, thankfully I got to see the match for Owen which was amazing and I thought he showed how great he still could be, with the NWO crap he got saddled with eventually I remember the funk match being the last I ever saw from the hitman.

I slightly disagree with the interviewer about the seriousness of injuries in MMA, for one this is a sport that has unlike WWE very few fights, wrestler would work on a weekly or daily programme whereass most fighters in the UFC PRIDE etc only do 12 to 15 fights a year, the top dogs only fight 3 to 5 fights a year, the fighters have mutual respect for one another and their skills, so that's why after a match is done they show each other the respect they have gained for one another, aside from that UFC and PRIDE have very strict medical regulations unlike the WWE were steroid abuse is still being punished by a slap on the hand

I think you are right. I am not at all sure that a big knockout or two is worse than repeated blows night after night. I’ve been in a pro wrestling ring with pros… been hard jumps rattle the brain slightly. It’s hard to say….

Dude, this guy has suffered so much! I wanna know what exactly the concussion did in his head, did only this single concussion do all this stuff, even trigger a stroke?! What would happen if he did wrestle again?!

+Xantylon Sieben Vier Something tells me he may would end up as Lex Luger. Paralyzed from the waist down. Or maybe he'll end up as CM Punk.
I'm not a doctor but I do not hope Bret wrestles again. He's been through much.

If he was to get back in the ring, it will Probably kill him because he only has 50% left because of Goldberg kicking him hard in the head,so that mean he not only has a concussion , his brain got damaged badly

Of course, Jesse was the best. I hope he runs for office in 2016.
