I learned more from this, than my lecture. Like Idk why there is such a lack of clarity in lecture, lol they go straight to explaining the mechanisms with examples without even stating what we're trying to make or what we're working with. You're videos are really saving my ass in Ochem, thank you.
could u pls make a video for(amines) reactions with sulfonyl chlorides to form sulfonamides and acylation with carboxylic acids and derivatives to form sulfonamides . THANK YOU
thank you so much professor! it helps me a lot. anyway i have a weird question.. whats gonna happen to imine if we give heat and KOH? will the oxygen's free electron attact the carbon in imine? thank you before
During imine formation, can we represent the proton transfers by having the negatively charged oxygen pluck the hydrogen from the nitrogen... or that a bad idea?

My dude. 90 min lecture boiled down to a 7 minute video. You're the best!
i want to give you a hug
hugs are much appreciated!
Thank you, Dave! I have an exam on carbonyl chemistry coming up, and it should help to hear things explained in other words.
professor dave you are a life saver i love your videos so much and they help me understand everything perfectly. Youre amazing!!
Professor Dave, this video is so concise and easy to follow I actually feel like I've misunderstood something.
Thank you professor.
Elegant explanation
Dude, I love your videos
i owe you my life

thank you a lot prof.
Sir can you explain reactions of glucose with acetone
At 1:30 why does the OH group get protonated but not the OR group?
Please answer me professor
u really should make a video about dcc/dmap and mukaiyama
Hi David, may you please do some video on Titration analysis(Multivariate acid-base titration) and Absorbance spectrophoto

+Darlina Liu i wouldn't say it's specifically wrong, but it might be statistically unlikely.
Sir please tell how to deprotect these groups
like the cyclic acetal that protects ketones/aldehydes? just a little acid
Ok thanks
you are amazing
Could you explain how an imine is formed with an aldehyde instead?
no difference!
thank you o chem jesus, for your blessings
is it just me and my internet or is the audio and the video not in sync with each other?
works fine for me! try refreshing.
bless up bro
Sweet. But just here tryin to figure out how to turn water to wine.
