Fun fact.... Victor and Niko are the only GTA Protagonists that previously served in the military.
Victor Vance actually served in the Military at the start of GTA Vice City Stories, before being dishonorably discharged by Sergeant Peppah for Drug Possession and Bringing an unauthorized individual into the Military Base.
Niko Bellic served in the Serbian Army during the Yugoslavian Civil War.
You forgot Trevor. He was serving in Air Force and was discharged for being mentally instable during his first weeks of service
And Louis Lopez had his photo of wearing US military uniform but that past life wasnt shown and noone mentioned that in plot but at least there is one little thing like that
The Sergeant had a name? Oh and that photo of what looked like Luis, that's not him, but his father. Who then left his family and started another. Then ran off from his second family.

@@entiel7892 Hi, I found it, the name of the modification is Interactive Pause Menu Map.
The platform blocks direct l1nks, but a quick search for Interactive Pause Menu Map GTA 3, will get you the correct place.

@@entiel7892 If you're new to modding the older GTA games, I recommend you to watch a detailed tutorial to be safe.
But in short, you also need the following mods installed for proper function of the mod: Ultimate ASI Loader and Modloader.
It's also recommended to downgrade your GTA 3 to 1.0, most mods don't function with later versions
You can search those keywords in order to find direct tutorials on how to get the mod working as fast as possible.

To be honest Claude from Gta 3 would be best soldier existing ,he is capable to make things done .Like Joey said "He is aint Italian but he can make things fixed." and sure he does as long as he gets paid .One bad thing is that he has no sense of loyality and would just work to a guy who just paid more than others so he would be good as mercenary for some military group.

In the game GTA IV/4, the Protagonist "Niko Bellic" says many times in the game that he "fought in a war." Now if you pay close attention to his dialogue, it is heavily implied that he was from the "Balkans witch is a Region in Europe." And the language he speaks in game is the "Serbo-Croatian Language," that comes from some countries of the "Former Yugoslavia." And "Niko" seems to be from "Serbia" and has a "Serbian Nationality." But it is unclear if he came from "FR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro," known today as "Serbia." or the "Serbian areas" in "Bosnia and Herzegovina." (BiH) That is now known as "Republika Srpska." Back in the 90s during the "Dissolution of Yugoslavia," many states voted for Independence from Yugoslavia. It is unclear if "Niko" was a part of the "Serb dominated Yugoslav People's Army," or was in the "Serb Majority areas in Bosnia." But either way, he was in the war, And was fighting for the "Army of Republika Srpska." (VRS) And fought during "the Bosnian War." And was most likely fighting "the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina." (ARBiH) It is unclear if he was also Fighting the "Bosnian Croat Army" of the "Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia." (Herzeg-Bosnia) But its most likely he was not fighting the "Croatian Defence Council." (HVO) And mostly fighting the "Bosnian army." From the dialogue that "Niko" says in game.
If you want to know more about the Yugoslav wars. Look up "Feature History," or "The Armchair Historian's" Videos on the war. And if you like I will link some "Wikipedia articles" of the wars, and the army's that fought in the war.
SIDE NOTE: *This war is some what sad to look up on. as the "south slavs" have the same Language, and other things. but they all hate each other.*
SIDE NOTE: Niko was never in the war in Kosov- I MEAN! South Serbia. As I think he moved to other countries away from the Former Yugoslavia.
