Today we take a look at the Brand new and UPDATED Haiboxing 18859!
This is the UPDATED 2020 Version!
So a little update since filming this video. Haiboxing has confirmed this will only come with your choice of either green, blue or orange body shell and the other optional extras will also be available separately
Another really nice looking budget RC which does offer a lot for the money!
Now i look RC's like this they promise durability, speed and fun in RTR packages which are affordable for a lot of people who may be entering the RC hobby for the first time or anyone who is on a tight budget but wants something nimble, good looking and exciting!
This looks like an ideal RC for the beginner as it comes with everything you need to get going in the box and only requires the application of the decals/stickers & batteries for the transmitter to get you going.
I hope you enjoy this little unboxing video and first initial impressions we will take this for a run and see how it performs in the next few days and hopefully this turns out to be as impressive as it looks.
We also had a look at the 16889 which is a little bigger than this 1/18th model but has some amazing features too!

Even so this looks like it will be an incredible little truck for the money.
Can you please do the latrax prerunner? I would love to see you review it cause i cant find that many that are good

Like the look of the tires and body shells!
It's got the looks alright and those new clips will be a godsend for me, i use a small screwdriver to pull the others out. Both cars look brill, love the new tires on this but the wheels on the 1/16 stand out so much ! Great to see BeyondRC & Ricky going great

I just bought the 2020 version of the Hailstorm. It only came with one body. I'm hoping that this truck which I also bought comes with the 3 body's just like yours did.

Any tips on disconnecting the batteries easily? The connection is soooo tight.
I just bought this last week but only got one shell too... but anyway it’s amazing! I love it, wat can I use to keep my shocks clean? There getting a little rusty unfortunately
My son got one gor his birthday yesterday. The steering on the remote doesn't work. Any ideas, or should I just send it back? Thanks
I love the orange body. It looks great. Now to choose between, this one and the 1/16th scale!! 🤔
I also think it looks better than the A979!!
We will see how they perform i think the 1/16th will be more versatile being slightly bigger but this does look amazing 👍😏
I have the 168889 in brushless and it is great! I just picked up the brushed 18859 to compare
Does this 18859 truck require adding grease to the differentials before using it ? I had to do that to my Wltoys 144001 before running it.
For £50 quid I think these are a good deal, it’s definitely a shame that they don’t come with all 3 bodies lol that would have definitely made me get one.. I do think these are good for those younger rc addicts though, those wheels are dang nice too.. happy rcing bud 👍

Looks a lot like the rampage this an update of the original I guess or a fresh modal
update over the rampage, wider chassis, metal driveshafts, new esc, new tires, new body and probably a few more new things.
Where can I get one? Sent a message to haiboxing and they said its US and Canada only?
i was approached by them on instagram unfortunately i can't give out any names but keep growing the channel and no doubt you will be approached :) if you mean where can you purchase one i was under the impression you could buy them from 25th onwards..
Will most tracks allow an airplane transmitter to run a car?
you want to be using a surface transmitter ideally 2-4ch

Just got the 18859 for my son for Xmas, and after two days, the steering doesn't respond anymore (truck won't turn). What are my options? Anyone has some advice? Thx in advance

I almost pulled the trigger in the old rampage model two weeks ago, happy I didn’t because of the new model release. But now I’m in a pickle. I really want a tiny rc that goes fast. I was thinking of brushless swapping the rampage, but since I’m a newbie I don’t really know how to. Am I just better off going a bit bigger with the brushless 16889 or should I try to brushless swap the rampage. I really like the small form factor of the rampage, but I like the speed of the brushless 16889. What should I do? Could you do a comparison between the two, how much larger is the ravage compared to the rampage? Which is better in which aspect and such. It would be greatly appreciated ❤️
Sure no problem I will compare the two. If you like this model im sure it would be easy enough to convert to brushless. I will be looking at going brushless on this as I feel its a really nice looking model! I hope you can make your mind up!

I will record the whole brushless conversion process so its easy to follow. I have done quite a few brushless conversions on the channel now. Stay tuned for those upcoming vids!

@@GummiRobbi The only thing I've seen that you should think about is how they handle when brushless. I've seen a couple of vids now on the old rampage, where the change was regretted as it was just too much for such a small car. Now it could have been choice of motor etc but the stock as a basher is great, especially with upgraded shocks.
