- What can we learn about luxury silk today? That was the question going through my head, as I was brought to this Silk Factory tour in Chiang Mai Thailand. There is always something to learn if you keep an open mind. The more you know, the better you become. So take a journey inside with me and let's soak up some knowledge as I use my curiosity to ask questions you may have also had, about silk and its production into fine fabric products. Very impressive Thai silk factory and store! Would enjoy wearing a nice, comfortable short sleeve silk shirt or even having a pure silk suit. That would really feel comfortable, especially in hot weather like here in Miami, Florida! Thanks for the tour Vern!

Hey Vern. Interesting locations to take a tourist....I doubt that the Tuk Tuk driver would have taken someone in their twenties to those places. You must have that 'made of money' look about yourself. You should probably adopt a more 'impoverished' affectation. Having said that, those bolts of silk are amazing! Thanks for another great episode.

nice silk factory. just curious is it for tourist only? i didnt see any customers there. seems like its for a tour only and hopefully the tourist buys things. its not cheap so maybe locals cant afford it
Cheers A F, yea maybe mostly a tourist place. As the prices seemed on the higher end. There are some very wealthy Thai people here...So not sure why it was slow...Maybe too many similar places also.
