The way the South Africans play so different and forceful at home, blowing elite teams from the north and then proceed to be garbage away is mind boggling to me.

The stadium is well over 1000 metres above sea level? That's oxygen starvation territory for many URC teams. Tougher to find the air needed for those games, stamina issues etc.. South African teams much more attuned, acclimatised to it. Not the whole story but certainly part of it.

@@wewhoflyAltitude is utterly irrelevant to the outcome unless there’s a fitness discrepancy. You just get tired more quickly, whether you live there or visit your throat will burning just the same ten minutes in.
The initial point was about elite Northern teams. Dragons are by no means an elite Northern team.@@simpslayer7839

Not sure which was more atrocious - the 'highlights' or the official's interpretation of a forward pass. Both shocking.

The Bulls yellow card was really bad. Not supporting weight?! That TMO was smoking something, and was being really dof.
That yellow was absolutely ridiculous but somebody had to help Connaught they were getting slaughtered. The Bulls made then look like silly and that wasn't even the Bulls best team.
@@wlk2408 The BBs are SAs best side this season (to date). They played really nicely, and I think their balance is quite good

In fairness to Connacht they were missing a lot of players. Bundee Aki, Mack Hansen, Cian Prendergast, Jarrod Butler, Santiago Cordero, Dave Heffernan, Gavin Thornbury, John Porch, Tom Daly, Tom Farrell, Niall Murray, Jordan Duggan, Paul Boyle. This was more like a Connacht B team against a full strength Bulls team and at altitude! The score would’ve been a lot different if those guys were playing.
You think so? The Bulls played without Coetzee, Hanekom, Vorster, Immelman, Moodie ( didn't start) and Arendse.

The only thing that saved Connaught from a even bigger hiding was a bad ref. The Akker yellow is crazy. Not so much fun now that they have to play in South Africa.

@@aaronreid116 They just got their backsides handed to them. Imagine they had to stay two more weeks like we have to in Europe? A four week tour and they will go home broken. The Bulls in one game put Connaughts points difference into the minus. They sucked, and that wasn't even the Bulls strongest team.
@wlk2408 They pulled off a huge upset against the Sharks last week. They won't go home too disappointed. Expecting 2 losses but getting 1win ain't that bad. They will regroup.
