Question how well do those snow chains hanging under the ambulance work? Ive heard a lot of people dont like the system because the chains tend to break when the system isnt being used but ive never dealt with it in person
They drop down infront of the tires. You contol them with a switch inside the cabin. Mercedes sells them as a addon for sprinters etc. They do require some maintenance. They arnt suppose to be used "alot" prefferedly used when going up or downhill and you need quick traction.
Well, I am just an ambulance obsesed 14 year old from Norway, but its very good to have those chains ready to go when in Norway if you know what i mean😅
I'm planning a trip to Europe and I'm not sure which country to go to. I want to go to Scandinavia for sure but I'm not sure which. I'll be flying into ireland if that helps any and spending some time there and in the UK
I would recommend going to the northern parts of Norway (Trøndelag, Finnmark, Troms or Nordland). Bergen and its surrounding areas are also very scenic, e.g Hardangervidda National Park.
Nice catches! Oh my... I'd almost forgotten how beautiful Oslo's ambulances are!!
