I like this more simple and traditional approach. But adding a couple more modern elements. I have a Rossi R95 in 360 Buckhammer on order and I can’t wait to get it in. It’s a Marlin clone but for a fraction of the price. I might start out with switching to either a peep sight or just replacing buckhorns with fiber optic sights. I also have a 1x red dot that I bought for my inline muzzleloader to take to Utah for deer 🦌 but sadly didn’t get to go. So I might get a rail and try that if I need to. Probably do the paracord and everything else you did outside of the brake since it’s not threaded.
That's exactly what I was trying to do, keep it simple and honor the traditional look, while adding some modern enhancements. Let me know how you like the Rossi, my friend got one in 3030 and I really liked it! Felt super smooth too
@@TheWVgoodguy22 I really love my Rossi r92 in 357. It's a Davidson exclusive so it has some more embellishments than the factory version, but it sure does run and it's a beautiful piece as well!
@ I watched the video for that rifle and the G Force Huckleberry and both are nice. I am a fan of the stainless and laminate combo and my other favorite is walnut and case hardened. Pretty cool upgrades straight from the factory on that R92 as well
I have xs sights and picatinny rail on my 336, I'm with you on the white line front sight don't care for em, I had a fiber optic on my blr takedown 300wsm and it broke almost immediately our in the brush.
The fiber optic line broke on just average handling, I loved the fiber optic, however I feel it's to fragile when you get into a thick alder patch, especially when it comes to dangerous game.
@@RichFreireich I'll have to report back to you how this one holds up. The one I put on is the same one that's on the sbl model. So i will be interested to see how it performs
However you probably have a more durable, sight than mine, I do feel that in low light or certain inclement weather situation they can't be beat, especially the one you have with the tritium ring, I guess one solution would be to purchase a bunch of fiber optic rods of different colors and just change them out in the field if you break one.
@@RichFreireich that is def a great idea. The next time I make a cartridge cuff I'm going to make a little pocket so I can hold things like that or a lens wipe
I LOVE IT
LOOKS LIKE THE ONE OWEN GRADY USES ON JURRASSIC WORLD
It really does!!
Very nice, makes me regret getting my henry , love the muzzle break
Thank you but don't regret getting a Henry. They are great rifles too!

@ well you did a great job with that.
I definitely will have to do that. Every review I’ve watched says the same thing so that’s encouraging

I think it is perfect as well. well done.
Thank you!!! 🤝🙏
Very nice 👌.

How did it break? Like the sight body broke or the fiber optic line itself?

Nice setup. You get a deer yet this fall?
I didn't.🫤 My dad and I were planning on going, but he's been having some major health issues and we are focused on getting him better
@ Hope he gets better
@@guaporeturns9472 thanks man. He's starting chemo soon, so I'm hoping it goes by fast

@guaporeturns9472 thank you
great looking rifle but you got the sling on backwards
@@shaunsian4784 I keep the sling oriented the way I have it, so when I sling the rifle, the barrel is pointed towards the ground and not my head
@@oreGUNboy good idea
Just trying to extend safety precautions even if they aren't the most comfortable
not the scope on a lever
Are levers not allowed to have scopes?
They have been putting scopes on lever guns since they released the first rifle scope
That's what I'm saying!
