Housekeeping is such hard work but it is so rewarding to see and enjoy a clean house!! Levi is following in your footsteps Mom and what a great example to follow!!😊I have been using Bar Keeper's friend for a long time and think it does a much better job than other cleansers and it is not so harsh. I also mix 1 part rubbing alcohol 70% with 2 parts water in a spray bottle for use on windows and mirrors-streak free every time!!

I use one homemade all-purpose cleaner for the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. I just mix equal parts of Dawn and vinegar, and I keep one spray bottle of it underneath both of our bathroom sinks and our kitchen sink, so it is always where it needs to be. I also make a homemade window cleaner that consists of just five ingredients. I use a pumice stone often on the stovetop, oven, sinks, bathtubs, and toilets. It is an amazing blessing! It will remove just about anything and doesn't scratch most surfaces. It works amazingly on removing toilet rings!

I use the flylady cleaning system which I find makes housework so easy. Diane in Denmark is who I follow. The routines are awesome. You should never be exhausted by cleaning in my opinion!
Great little helper! 😊 A good mix for tough stains is make a paste of baking powder, peroxide and dawn dish detergent (the dawn with the ducks on the label). Put it on a tough stain and let it sit for a few hours and wash. It works great on stained khaki pants. Mom of three boys so I have fought many of stains.😉 Beautiful home
Levi is adorable!! You have a beautiful home.A lot of space to clean.I can see why you stopped at the kitchen. I have a tip for you. To save money on paper towels for cleaning window and glass. Go to walmart and purchase some white flour sack clothes. They come in a five pack. Most of the time they are on the bottom self in the kitchen towel area. I cleaned houses for years and use these all the time. They wash up very well! God Bless!
i deep cleaned my living room about a week ago and it took all day and by the end of the day I was exhausted! I want to do my kitchen next and declutter as well! Love how beautiful your home is!
Hannah I absolutely adore your channel! You give so much inspiration!! Thank you!! I wanted to suggest maybe trying out Fels-Naptha. Just wetting the bar a little bit with warm water and rubbing it on the stain maybe let it sit and then using your Bissell and the cleaner you use in that after applying the Fels- Naptha. I’ve had so much success with Fels-Naptha on so many different things! I was also going to suggest dawn powerwash, Folex, or oxiclean. All of those things I’ve had amazing results with on various things. Rubbing the Fela-Naptha bar on the stain with a little Oxi-Clean. I’m not sure if it will work but I’ve personally have had a lot of success on different materials and I just wanted to share just in case. Have you ever watched any car detailing videos and how they clean the car seats and carpets? They usually have some great tips and tricks. I like watching the Detail Geek on TH-cam. He also has some carpet cleaner solutions for sale that you could try out.
I make my own soft cleanser by mixing baking soda (get it in the 5# bag from Costco) with Method dish soap until you get a frosting consistency. I use it on everything like stovetop, countertops, showers, tubs and sinks. Works great!

I prefer the old school bars keepers in a can...works way better than the new stuff. I also use bleach to clean the whole bathroom n kitchen. For dusting I use a recipe for a dusting repellant I found on IG it's: 1/2 c water, 1Tbsp. vinegar, 1tsp olive oil, a drop of blue dawn dish soap n a few drops of an essential oil, pour in squirt bottle shake well with each spray and use a microfiber cloth. Your home is lovely 💗
I use the Pet Stain formula for my Little Green Machine even though I don't have pets and find that it does the trick on stubborn set in stains better than the regular formula. Worth a try on those sofa stains. Levi is such a cutie and reminds me of my own son when he was that age. Thank you taking the time to video all of your hard work and sharing your life with us!
Love your Channel. You motivated me... I started room by room declutter, now early "spring" cleaning, deep cleaning. Slowly doing each room. I work 8 to 10 hours a day, so I do it as I can and in the evenings. Thank you for all you do. ♥
I enjoy your videos...I believe you were exhausted after all the cleaning. I have several house jobs a week and am always tired afterwards. I make several of my cleaning products...in my kitchen I keep a spray bottle of vinegar with a bunch of dawn dish soap mixed in and use it on my counters eat. In the bathrooms I keep a spray bottle of 10oz of water, 8oz of vinegar, 4oz of reallemon juice, an 2oz of blue dawn. Spray your shower ,sinks, let soak just a min or two and add a drop or two more dawn sprinkle with soda and scrub, rinse. This gets soap scum off and leaves a sparkling shower,sink etc. At one of my jobs I was amazed at the difference it made in the shower....years of soap scum removed. I use this cleaner as a multi purpose cleaner....certainly cheaper than boughten cleaners and I love the results!!!

@@hannahshappyhome Hannah, for got you asked what kind of cleaning products that we use I'm mostly use vinegar in warm water and I'll use baking soda in my bathroom, I've been using a spray from mrs. Meyers that has Lavender in it I like that one a lot.

Hi Hannah I just wanted to let you know that one time I had a perfessional carpet cleaning service come in to clean a carpet for me. They told me you should always use cold water to clean your stains. Hot or warm water will set the stains in. I use some powder Tide laundry detergent and a soft scrub brush on stains and it usually will remove all stains. You can also try a little of dawn dish washing liquid. I hope this might help you out. I love your videos. They truly motivate me.
Norwex has an amazing scrubbing paste, and an amazing descaler. They also have a mattress spray that eats the dust mites. You can also spray on the carpets. Great for allergy sufferers.
For your stain on the couch use1cup of water half cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dawn dish soap put it in a spray bottle shake well soak stain let set 15 minutes scrub and wipe clean. Hope it works for you, it worked for me in my car. Good luck

Folex is great for carpet and upholstery stains. Love my Bissell Little Green machine. My son is a puker so it has saved me more times than I can count.
I need to deep clean this weekend. I try to keep everything clean throughout the week and my deep clean on Sundays. But some weeks you just want to relax and that was my weekend last week. Thanks for this video. I think I’m motivated to get it done this weekend
If your sofa has zippered covers remove them and put them in your clothes washer in warm water with your detergent on a gentle cycle. A pre wash soil spray may also help. Most sofa covers are manufactured with washable fabric. Let the covers dry naturally although some can be put in the dryer on low heat. This has worked for me through several sofas and I do this periodically to keep the covers clean. If there are any arm covers with the sofa, you can test wash those first if you want. The covers get the most hard-core use of course. (Works for back rest covers too).
What a chore! After new year I am always ready for “spring cleaning”! I make about 80% of my cleaning products with essential oil. I use revive oils. I also use a lot of baking soda and vinegar. I let citrus soak In vinegar for a natural laundry softener and scent as well. I buy my glass spray bottles from grove. However I can say that the sprayer on most of them has not lasted longer than a year.
Little Levi is walking like a pro! I use the method bathroom cleaner. It's not the best for big jobs, but good for maintaining a clean bathroom, and it has less chemicals, why I prefer it. I never thought of a pumice stone. Great job getting your home all spic and span!👏 Have you looked into the lithium batteries in cordless vacs; I'm sure you have. Love ur channel! Watch every episode. I watch a detail guy clean vehicles. He uses the scrub brush drill attachment you used in the shower to clean upholstery and carpets. Maybe this would take the stain out of your sofa. I'd use in a inconspicuous spot yo make sure it won't damage the material. Good luck!
I love my all-purpose spray cleaner, based on a recipe by Melissa Maker! 1c warm water, @ 1/8tsp Dawn dish soap (or your preferred), and 22 drops of your favorite essential oil (I use lime...bliss!!). I also use 50/50 water and isopropyl alcohol for a glass cleaner. Both cleaners work WONDERFULLY!! 🙂
Hello Hannah, for cleaning products I have used my own concoction. Vinegar and dawn dish soap... for the bathroom. Im allergic to bleach so I cant have it in the house. For the floor hot water and faboluso. Kitchen vinegar and hot water and sometime baking soda...

A chore a day. Monday, all floors- vac and mop. Tuesday, pick a chore- the odd things you don't do on a weekly or monthly basis. Wednesday, errand day and maybe another PAC day (pick a chore) Thursday, meal plan, deep clean kitchen, yay! date night. Friday, grocery shop, clean the bathrooms, pay the bills. Doesn't overwhelm me.

Levi is the cutest little helper. I purchased FOLEX from Amazon to get stains out of fabric & carpet stains. It was recommended be Kathryn from Do It On A Dime. I had a set in stain on my kitchen chair cushion. It did take 3 attempts but the stain did come out. Always look forward to your videos.
Hello Hannah, tide powder laundry detergent mixed with a little water to make a paste for stains on furniture. Lightly scrub and then let it completely dry. Vacuum up dried powder. Works great. I like the folex spot cleaner product also.
Thankful for the motivation! I'm trying to work through one room at a time but always am distracted (squirrel) and it's taking me forever. Hopefully I'll get done before spring cleaning time.

Hannah, like you it is impossible to deep clean my whole house in one day. Knowing this I try to deep clean one room a week. This works out better for me. I tidy and clean daily. The housework doesn’t seem as overwhelming doing it this way. Kitchen & bathroom cleaning must be deep cleaned at least once a week. I do a lot of cooking & baking so it is a must to keep up with kitchen cleaning.I enjoyed watching today & I cannot wait to see the finished room make over in the room next to the dining room. Love your channel! Any tips on how to deep clean laminate wood floors? The previous owners left a layer of smudge that doesn't want to come up. I scrub and scrub and take a paper towel and there is still smudge on the floors 😐 Floor germs are the worst!

My new favorite is the Seventh Generation power foaming dish spray. It’s a more natural alternative to the Dawn one. It works very well!

@@hannahshappyhome Hannah, for got you asked what kind of cleaning products that we use I'm mostly use vinegar in warm water and I'll use baking soda in my bathroom, I've been using a spray from mrs. Meyers that has Lavender in it I like that one a lot.

Hi Hannah I just wanted to let you know that one time I had a perfessional carpet cleaning service come in to clean a carpet for me. They told me you should always use cold water to clean your stains. Hot or warm water will set the stains in. I use some powder Tide laundry detergent and a soft scrub brush on stains and it usually will remove all stains. You can also try a little of dawn dish washing liquid. I hope this might help you out. I love your videos. They truly motivate me.
Norwex has an amazing scrubbing paste, and an amazing descaler. They also have a mattress spray that eats the dust mites. You can also spray on the carpets. Great for allergy sufferers.
For your stain on the couch use1cup of water half cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dawn dish soap put it in a spray bottle shake well soak stain let set 15 minutes scrub and wipe clean. Hope it works for you, it worked for me in my car. Good luck

Folex is great for carpet and upholstery stains. Love my Bissell Little Green machine. My son is a puker so it has saved me more times than I can count.
I need to deep clean this weekend. I try to keep everything clean throughout the week and my deep clean on Sundays. But some weeks you just want to relax and that was my weekend last week. Thanks for this video. I think I’m motivated to get it done this weekend

If your sofa has zippered covers remove them and put them in your clothes washer in warm water with your detergent on a gentle cycle. A pre wash soil spray may also help. Most sofa covers are manufactured with washable fabric. Let the covers dry naturally although some can be put in the dryer on low heat. This has worked for me through several sofas and I do this periodically to keep the covers clean. If there are any arm covers with the sofa, you can test wash those first if you want. The covers get the most hard-core use of course. (Works for back rest covers too).
Have you tried dawn,peroxide in a spray bottle and just scrub brush on the couch you can use on anything work great

What a chore! After new year I am always ready for “spring cleaning”! I make about 80% of my cleaning products with essential oil. I use revive oils. I also use a lot of baking soda and vinegar. I let citrus soak In vinegar for a natural laundry softener and scent as well. I buy my glass spray bottles from grove. However I can say that the sprayer on most of them has not lasted longer than a year.
Little Levi is walking like a pro! I use the method bathroom cleaner. It's not the best for big jobs, but good for maintaining a clean bathroom, and it has less chemicals, why I prefer it. I never thought of a pumice stone. Great job getting your home all spic and span!👏 Have you looked into the lithium batteries in cordless vacs; I'm sure you have. They had warnings for cancer and reproductive problems, I ended up sticking w a corded vac. Have a blessed week!😊🌅🌸

Love ur channel! Watch every episode. I watch a detail guy clean vehicles. He uses the scrub brush drill attachment you used in the shower to clean upholstery and carpets. Maybe this would take the stain out of your sofa. I'd use in a inconspicuous spot yo make sure it won't damage the material. Good luck!
I love my all-purpose spray cleaner, based on a recipe by Melissa Maker! 1c warm water, @ 1/8tsp Dawn dish soap (or your preferred), and 22 drops of your favorite essential oil (I use lime...bliss!!). I also use 50/50 water and isopropyl alcohol for a glass cleaner. Both cleaners work WONDERFULLY!! 🙂
Hello Hannah, for cleaning products I have used my own concoction. Vinegar and dawn dish soap... for the bathroom. Im allergic to bleach so I cant have it in the house. For the floor hot water and faboluso. Kitchen vinegar and hot water and sometime baking soda...
Vinegar, baking soda, are my favorite things to use in bathroom and kitchen.
I use Norwex. It saves time and money in the long run. Reusable cleaning supplies and non toxic cleaners.

A chore a day. Monday, all floors- vac and mop. Tuesday, pick a chore- the odd things you don't do on a weekly or monthly basis. Wednesday, errand day and maybe another PAC day (pick a chore) Thursday, meal plan, deep clean kitchen, yay! date night. Friday, grocery shop, clean the bathrooms, pay the bills. Doesn't overwhelm me.
Oh ! Laundry when needed, I don't let it pile up.
I dust the whole house the first week of the month.

Levi is the cutest little helper. I purchased FOLEX from Amazon to get stains out of fabric & carpet stains. It was recommended be Kathryn from Do It On A Dime. I had a set in stain on my kitchen chair cushion. It did take 3 attempts but the stain did come out. Always look forward to your videos.
Hello Hannah, tide powder laundry detergent mixed with a little water to make a paste for stains on furniture. Lightly scrub and then let it completely dry. Vacuum up dried powder. Works great. I like the folex spot cleaner product also.

I do a wand in our shower with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 Dawn soap…works well!! Try OXi Clean on the sofa stain….full strength…can’t hurt😃

Good morning Hannah, hope all is well.😊 Look at Levi walking around like a big boy. It seems like yesterday you had him. He is so adorable. Hannah, like you it is impossible to deep clean my whole house in one day. Knowing this I try to deep clean one room a week. This works out better for me. I tidy and clean daily. The housework doesn’t seem as overwhelming doing it this way. Kitchen & bathroom cleaning must be deep cleaned at least once a week. I do a lot of cooking & baking so it is a must to keep up with kitchen cleaning.I enjoyed watching today & I cannot wait to see the finished room make over in the room next to the dining room. My favorite shower/tub cleaner is Dawn dishsoap on a non scratch sponge. Cuts right through the soap scum.
I have used a product called Spot Shot for stubborn stains. It has always worked. It is available on Amazon.
Love your channel! Any tips on how to deep clean laminate wood floors? The previous owners left a layer of smudge that doesn't want to come up. I scrub and scrub and take a paper towel and there is still smudge on the floors 😐 Floor germs are the worst!
