Coko's voice is so loud, high & crystal clear. She's incredible yet so damn underrated when it comes to female vocalist. I used to wish I could sing like her (& MC of course)
Word she deserves so much more credit than given , the whole group fr fr they were a staple in 90s RnB n half these artists today were inspired by them !
She’s definitely not underrated. Everyone knew see could blow and was one of the best singers/girl group in the 90s with endless hits. Every girl wanted to sound like her. Here in New York Her & SWV are highly respected
back in the day, there was this group, total, jade, brownstone, tlc, destiny child, 702, xscape, good girls, en vogue, salt n pepa, changing faces. where'd yall go???
Even in the "You're the one" video they were dancing mad hard. Swv were great dancers. Idk why they didnt dance much during performances maybe they wanted their vocals to be the main focus points. Idk.. But it wouldve been nice to see.
@@rhason86 yea, that’s the main reason why. They always sing live vocals and they wanted to showcase their voices rather than dance moves. But they definitely dance more now, than they did back then.
@@chrisgray9975 she does not sing Tenor, that’s the male soprano, used in male choirs, or barbershop quartet. She sings Alto, the lower female choral chair.
@@treymarks4122 not exactly, Full-Lyric would have a heavier voice & maturer voice. Coko is the epitome of a Light-Lyric Soprano. LeeLee’s voice is hazy, womanly, & medium. Compared to Coko she lacks projects & acrobatics vocals, but those are mere attributes of vocal styling not Timbre. LeeLee was a Light-Lyric between their first 3 albums, but converted. She does not have the depth, weight, or sound of a Mezzo, only Taj.
I WANNA GIVE U HEAD! @ 2:34 lol. yeah i know she didnt say it but come on...doesn't it sound like it? p.s. -sista coko cud mess sumbody up w/ dem nails huh?
Ok don't hate me for this comment. But doesn't it seem like there are more voices in the background singing than just the two other girls. The background singing sounds so strong and more than two other voices at this part 2:20 - 2:35 -- as if there are other singers back stage helping -- i am just saying--

No doubt

Especially 702
Blaque
@@MrSodaBelly blaque singing live is pretty boring and bad.
@@thaterasound but you never been to a show right so stfu
I remember growing up in the Bronx and SWV performed at a talent show before they became famous. Everyone knew these women were special then.
Coco..one of the most underrated female voices of all time!! Simply a pleasure to behold
One of the best and unique voices of our generation
Agreed to the both of you!
EITHER WAY WITHOUT BACKGROUND SINGERS SWV CAN STILL SING AND HARMONIZE ACAPELLA STYLE!
when the song switched 2 the rmx coko & lelees harmonies were on point then my girl taj came in & took it 2 another level...i love taj
Sing ya'll! Coko is ALWAYS amazing, and Lee & Taj are flawless on the background vocals in the performance!
I remember coming home from school w/my stero system hook to the tv recording this striaght on tape deck💯👊❤🥃
That remix part is FIRE. Takes it to another level
I don't know about y'all but taj is my favorite I love her voice
the way they just REMIX and kept it moving to the next song...hilarious.
The 2:00 remix is so melodic
Their blend is nice and Cokos voice is unreal
I couldn’t keep my eyes off leelee 😍
Coko literally came out swinging with the vocals, lorT 🔥😍
Wish this was in hd
I love this performance. The remix took it to new levels.
It really did
Hip-hop soul
Saw them in february. They dont sound any different. Loved the performance!
Their vocals are awesome. This is talent
dang i miss music like this man...real sistas with some real voices
I straight remember recording this on VHS. This was a great performance. Still listening in 2021. Good music never dies.
I love black music
Young Black King 👑 lol
Actually, if you look at live performances of I'm so into you, you'll see them dancing...HARD!!!

QUEENS!!! such a great live vocal performance by all 3 ladies esp Coko!!😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗
Classic
Ayooo this was so bomb ! Coco voice and the background vocals from tge other girls the switch up in the middle of the song yooo 🙌🙌
So glad my girls are back!
The remix tho🔥🔥🔥🔥i like the live version of the remix waaay better then the audio version
So hot! i love this remix... it was my first album that i bought ^^ i was 11 years old
Great performance
Coko - Light-Lyric Soprano (Soprano)
LeeLee - Full Lyric Soprano (Alto)
Taj - Lyric Mezzo-Soprano (2nd Alto)
Torrey Lar-Parker I never knew Lelee was a lyric soprano
LeeLee always sing the bottom note (tenor)
@@chrisgray9975 she does not sing Tenor, that’s the male soprano, used in male choirs, or barbershop quartet. She sings Alto, the lower female choral chair.
Ion know I think Leelee may be a lyric-mezzo or mezzo soprano. A full lyric would have a tone and weight close to that of Coko's voice.

Very Underrated!!!
This Remix Hit so much. Here comes Versuz May 08th
Next 2 TLC SWV were the hottest female group of the 90's no doubt.
Patrick Small absolutely not
ENVOGUE
DC

Brandon Fernandez she had her baby around this time and had to shortened them
Thank you MusicGod2008..I couldn't have said it better myself.

The outfit was pretty coko

Side chick anthem!
I know that your somebody's else guy!
Loooooool
I wish Coko replaced Dawn in En Vogue in 1997. Imagine that.
COKO wouldn’t fit in with Envogue, their styles are too different .
Remix? This was original. The second track of their second album "The new begining"
@icekoldnigga lol my bad u right

I think they lost the people with the remix. The remix goes hard but the transition wasn't smooth.
