I don't know how it's possible for them to actually be BETTER than this 30 years later but they ARE. This is almost perfect and they actually have gotten BETTER. These new artists need to start taking notes because CLEARLY SWV took notes!!!

I don't see how people could see taj and Lele as anything other than background singers. In looking at this performance, this would be no different than a solo singer and her background singers. I'm sorry but taj and Lele didn't provide any adlibs or anything in this performance, just sang background vocals. Coko was doing all the singing 🤷🏾♂️. I remember talks with my friend about this group and she said that their acronym is inaccurate..it should not be Sisters with Voices, but a Sister with a Voice. 😂
Did you listen to their second album…taj had many co and lead songs!!!! That album introduces all three of them vocally!!!! You learn all their voices from that album!!!!!! It’s their best album to me💯💯💯💯 vocally it’s all there🙌🏽 i call them the hip hop supremes🙌🏽🙌🏽

The one thing that made SWV stand out so much was; "NO BODY, I mean nobody" sounded or sung with as much swag as COKO.
SWV were a sound. Yes, Coko is the lead singer but it takes hell of harmonies to compliment her voice And Lelee and Taj created that perfect harmony.
