- A visit to the IOW Steam Railway for its BR Black Gala featuring the 2 Ivatt tanks and the O2 W24 in BR Black livery.
The weekend saw 3 rakes of coaches in use and the debut of the just restored bogie third brake van No. 491.
There were extensive shunting movements at Haven Street station at lunch time, swapping locos and coaches.
