    Last two rounds have been 90-85, which is pretty good for me. Highlight included a 276 yard par four that I drove and make a kick in birdie. My consistency with all clubs is markedly better and I really appreciate the concepts you've shared, which put me on a much better path. I know in a month that I am going to be in a great place. Thanks, Marcus!

    Okay, notice your Clubface is set to the golf ball, but your Low Point is way behind you, should your sternum be pointing at the Low Point and the clubface shown in your setup with Driver?
    Hope you're feeling better and recovering at lightening speed...

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for asking. I'm getting a little better every day but I have a long way to go.
      We can place the low point where ever we want depending on how we move our arms. I don't think my sternum has anything to do with it. I think it point slightly forward of the ball at set up most of the time but that is nothing I think about. My low point is on my side because I circle back and forward. I start with the ball in front of me but I hit it on my side if I do it correctly. 👍

      Thanks for your response.. before i found your channel I would setup with the driver in the middle of my stance and the driver resting 2 inches behind the ball. Which helped me catch the ball on the up swing. But not very consistent and short drives. With your system and focusing on the early release, maybe i am not contributing to turn. • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gianluca. I don't think I have much in common with Moe Norman but my svingplne is little bit of both. More like a single plane before impact and more a two plane sving after release and impact. At address I normally like low hands but your set-up will never hit the ball so make it personal if you need. 👍

    Great to see the doors open ! Great Video as always. One question: I think deep, and think down to hit up, but still have the draw become a hook on occasion. Driver only. Most likely causes if draw becomes hook occasionally ? Too fast ? Face control issue ? Path not in-to-out enough ? Other ? Love this move. TX!

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bob. The path is probably more in-to-in than in-to-out. The reason is probably a rotation in your forearms that is bringing the club around you instead of out and up. The club head should pass on the outside of your hands on the way up.

      I know that Dunaway talked about that but it's nothing I think about. Hitting from the inside will give you a motion that looks close to that but I don't think we can train that, it's a result of the way we use the club. 👍

    What degree loft do you use Marcus ? Does the ball go further the lower the loft ?

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Loft is our friend. We need it to keep the spinn at a good level. Depending on your swing speed you can find a correct lofted driver. To low loft will make the ball dive early.

  • @Mbsmoothe
    @Mbsmoothe ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you find having a slightly open stance helps hit up on the ball? I got on a track man for the first time and started to open up a bit (I may have been correcting a closed stance) and found it easier to get + attack angle. Smash factor started going up tremendously.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mason. A slightly open stance gives you a better chance to use your trail side. More trail side will give you better release and a better release will give you a better strike. 👍
