I’ve made this and the best ever banana bread recipe. Both are delicious. The best ever has really the bread texture and less sweet. But my family preferred this recipe. And requested me to bake again. 😅 They liked it very much. Thank you Bigger Bolder Baking ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this amazing recipe. I didn’t have maple syrup and flax seeds So I added 10 teaspoons of sugar And Increased the quantity of Plant milk. Still came out amazing. Baking it the 2nd time now. Everyone loved it.
Tried it today , oven method. It came out perfect. Just the right balance of banana, chocolate and flavors . Thank you for this easy recipe . I’m not a big fan of banana bread but this will definitely be baked often in my house. Couldn’t keep our hands off of it . Kids loved it too. Thank you.

Mine turned out completely different but let me tell you: I’m OBSESSED!! my bananas were extremely ripe (pretty much almost completely liquid in their peels so I added 30 grams less salt) and it was absolutely delicious!!! It didn’t rise at all so I think I did something wrong with the baking powder, but it really didn’t matter! It’s delicious!! I never liked banana bread until this one, it was better than cake to me!! Thank you this recipe will do amazing in summer too when it’s too hot to bake! I didn’t add the chips cause we were out but boy it didn’t need it! The steaming made the texture beautiful and reminds me a lot of my favorite Asian steamed cakes so I hope to add pandan extract next time, it’s such a hassle to het the big steamer out but the microwave did a wonderful job! Adding a cloth around the cake after it got out of the microwave also really improved the texture, I think it may be the reason why it reminds me so much of Asian steamed cakes. Thank you so much for the recipe, and for putting the banana in grams cause I’m so confused when people just use sizes! I ended up using 4 so bravo and thanks again for the grams such a life saver!! Much love and gratitude from the Netherlands ✨💎✨

Hi, Isha! Here’s the egg substitute chart with guidance for different types of recipes: www.biggerbolderbaking.com/egg-substitutes-for-baking/. Egg substitutes won’t work well in recipes which call for separating egg whites and yolk especially whipping up either or both. When you whisk eggs with other ingredients together, lots of air is incorporated into protein whose structure can hold air and help the baked goods rise. Egg substitutes don't have this feature.
**Flax eggs work closest to eggs in many recipes. So many of my microwave recipes can be eggless. Here're some full batch recipes you may like :

The egg in this recipe is to set it, and the cornflour/cornstarch will do that too.)
