Changing from slope-intercept form to general form

Dave Harris no because the general form is always numbers on one side equalling to zero. so if you did that it would not be general form anymore. this is not normal algebra

(No one is going to answer this for me in time but for the next kid with the same problem) What happens when the x fraction is negative, do you multiply by a negative or positive

That’s a good question! You can do either, actually. But it will save you a little bit of work if you multiply by the negative, because then your coefficient on x will be positive already, which we need for general form. Thanks for asking!
