I bought this about 2 or 3 years ago and it ended up in a drawer. I found it again and played around with it and love it. I did not like it at first because my Mac didn't recognize it and wouldn't download to it so I had to transfer to my other laptop. Which was a pain to do that twice. Now I have a newer Mac and we are good to go with drap and drop. I got my rock, 80's and 90's, 2000's in different files. I just want to say thanks for sharing how to navigate through this awesome gadget. I bought regular headphones to plug in before earbuds and me don't work well together. ;-) Now I am jam out.
I got this like 4 years ago. Listened to music or radio walking home from school. Very nice but forgot i had it for the last 2 years. Need to charge it lol i thought mine broke and wouldn't turn on. Guess I'm stupid. If i can charge it and get it working I'll be happy, but if not I'll comment here again asking for help if you have advice Michael K.
Also, if you follow the link in the description...you should be able to access the manual. If it's not in the manual then the answer is probably no. Good luck!
Michael hi, thanks for video on the MP3 player. I bought this to play a music that helps me sleep better. I installed my sleep file with no problem and can see the files on the player. The problem is it starts to play and then stops within a few seconds. I have deleted and re-installed the file but same problem. I deleted all those songs it comes with and wonder if maybe there was another file loaded that controls any files we install on it? I actually bought two but I'm ready to send it back because I can't make it work. Any ideas?
I'm sorry you're having issues. Is it possible that you haven't charged it to 100%. I returned mine shortly after the review. However, I do recall it took a really long time to charge. I'd leave it plugged into a wall charger or a laptop until you are certain it s fully charged. I don't think you broke it! Good luck and keep us posted!
Hi. Thanks for watching! You should be able to open up 2 file explorer sessions. Go to "my computer" and navigate to the flash drive. Then open another "my computer screen and navigate to the MP3 player. With the screens side by side, just drag and drop the files. Good luck!
I didn't even know it had a light lol thanks so much for making this easier to use... although I have to insert mine upside down to put it in a computer USB port.
Thanks for watching! and you're absolutely RIGHT! It's only compatible w/ PC - so sorry to hear about your struggle with it. mines been going strong for a couple years, my power button failed a week ago but i can still engage the switch with a paperclip or something similar .
Leave your switch in the "ON" position. To turn the unit on & off press and hold the Play/Pause until you see "Goodbye". Repeat to turn back on. It will not drain the battery to leave the switch on. Now you won't need the paperclip.
Does anyone elses mp3 player not charge? i leave it charging over night and the charge only lasts about 2 mins. just bought it last week too. it has only held a charge from the initial charge it had. Someone help me please.
RE: Will Weedman's issue of broken power switch. Turn the power switch to "ON" & leave it there (from then on/in perpetuity). Pressing & holding the Play/Pause area for a few seconds will turn the unit off (showing "Goodbye"). Repeat pressing & holding play/pause to turn the unit on or off. Leaving the power switch in "ON" position will not drain the battery. This will save the mechanical power switch from breaking due to repeat usage.
Hey thanks for watching! What kind of computer? Mac or PC? I would try plugging another usb device in to see of your computer can recognize any usb. Also make sure your pc or mac is completely up to date. Keep us posted and good luck!
I found this device while cleaning up my house. Sadly I lost the instructions. Do you charge it by putting it in the computer, or how would you recommend charging it?
Hey thanks so much for watching and congrats on finding a new/old toy! According to the instruction manual: Charging the player The battery should be fully charged before using your device for the first time. Make sure you slide the ON/OFF switch to ON before connecting the player for charging. The battery will automatically charge when the player is connected to a USB port. It should be charged for at least 4 hours before using for the first time. I interpret it as plug it into any usb slot long enough and it will eventually charge up, So basically...if you plug it into a charging usb port on your computer (I believe it needs to have a little battery symbol near it to indicate the port will have enough juice to charge an external device). Once it's fully charged, it would make sense that it would always recharge itself when you are listening to music. Let us know if this works! and good luck!

Hey!! I just bought this Bc it’s simple and works like my SanDisk MP3 player from 15 years ago. My question is will this thing automatically shut off if I leave it in my car usb and turn off the ignition? I’m sure it will, but thought I’d ask. Idk if you’ve used it in your car or not....it’s so easy and simple...love it!!!
Michael K. It does automatically shut off....it doesn’t always recognize the flash drive when I turn the car on again....so I pull it out and plug back in. Otherwise it’s a great little gadget!!
GearBest has a few different types of these on their site. It takes a few weeks to ship from China, but they are very inexpensive. I'm still figuring out how to use mine. Not sure if you were rocking or twisting that round thing. I know you can press it to make the recording pause.
@@MichaelK5543 It didn't last very long. Might have lasted longer if I hadn't tried to charge it from a wall charger. I replaced it with a battery operated Agptek U3U and got a two year warranty for two dollars.
