ethan was prob nrg’s only option to igl unless they kept fns. - marved either wasnt good/comfortable with igling on sen - crashies couldve been but ethan has more experience coming frim cs - ethan was the igl for 100t after they got 13-0d and they did pretty well even tho they didnt make playoffs for that challengers
i agree ethan is their best bet for taking main igl role but ur fact is a bit off. ethan was from cs pro correct but he did not igl so theres no "has more exprience from cs", And crashies and food (victor) also were cs pros, chet also from cs, fns also from cs, marved also from cs. like ethan is best option but not because experience coming from cs lmao.
@@codevin i didnt mean in terms of igl i meant it in a way that (i thought) ethan had the most experience from cs out of the entire nrg team(chet also was on eg in cs) so i js thought that all those years could back him up in a different game(which they did to everyone as well)👍
Not anymore. The old NRG lost because they couldn't handle the style that BLG were playing which was a chaotic and W key style. But Demon1, Ethan and Marved have experience playing in that style from last year in EG and SEN.
@@yashtandon7460nah nrg straight up lost coz they were playing like shit, even fns said so, their pracs and scrims were going terribly the team synergy wasn't there, you can attribute their maybe them losing split coz of their W key but lotus was a throw so was bind, and their ascent has always been ass
Antistratting in pro play usually involves vod reviewing teams so that you understand their specofic playstyle and developing strats to specifically counter theres, so for example you know A team likes to run 4 A short on bind on pistol rounds CT side specifically, you would develop a play to counter that, such as a trap deep A short or an attempt to bait out TPs and pinch the mod guys trying to flank. Stuff like that
Further, its a strat you develop specifically to counter one team and its not something youd normally see them running in other matches, this can even go as far as having specific team comps that you run against specific teams that differ from your usual ones or which differ from the meta

FNS is low key a body shot demon whereas Ethan is just an all around great player with “Thanos level comms”. He also IGL’d a lot without realizing during the EG era. I think FNS used to be one of, if not the best IGL in the world, but not anymore. But, let’s be real.. without Yay, FNS probably wouldn’t have had that level of success that he did early on.
@@ace.ethan7They're not overrated, in fact, they're being properly rated BASED on the players and their history. For them to be overrated would be saying that 100T will win, even though Boostio is their only addition, and I believe, the only tourny winner on their team. Every single player on NRG has won either at Masters or Champions. People are rating them that, Pro players included, because they SHOULD perform well. That's what people do, they rate people based on the paper. Tenz is arguably overrated, while he is a good player, he no longer is the same player he used to be, however, some people still put him in the conversation for the best.
@@ace.ethan7 Yes, that's how preseason ratings usually go. It's based off the players, hence why 90% say the words "on paper" when making a tier list. I mean, is FNC overrated because they got a new coach? What about PRX, they lost jingg? Loud, well they lost their primary duelist aspas. So, are they also all overrated? They all changed something about their team. I personally don't think so, and if you don't, then that's just pure hypocrisy and bias. Ah, and if you think my FNC comparison is stretching, then you must know that coaches play a big role in this game, especially in terms of assisting the IGL and improving mid-rounding. Also, don't focus purely on one thing I said, I mentioned a lot of teams, so I'm going to need a proper rebuttal if you're sticking with them being "overrated."

Ethan did not do good at igling on 100t🤣
or just pull a prx and have no igl at all, they are capable of such maneuvers

What is anti-strat?
creating a gameplan to specifically counter the team you're playing's playstyle/strats
it's the counter to another teams strategy during a given round.
So, at the most basic level: a counter to a hard B rush would be to stack B
Antistratting in pro play usually involves vod reviewing teams so that you understand their specofic playstyle and developing strats to specifically counter theres, so for example you know A team likes to run 4 A short on bind on pistol rounds CT side specifically, you would develop a play to counter that, such as a trap deep A short or an attempt to bait out TPs and pinch the mod guys trying to flank. Its funny that nobody even said Anti strategy, basically the opposite strategy to use against a strategy
