Bad take on the Pacers. They were well over .500 last year when Haliburton was healthy. They added Bruce Brown who will fit in perfectly with their running system and will help their defense. They also added another perfect fit in Toppin, who could easily be the most improved player just from the running the floor and catching lobs. I think they could win 45 games. And I'd be shocked if they won under 40.

The amount of disrespect for the Thunder is insane to me. Calling Shai a borderline top ten player when he was first team all-NBA is crazy and then to double down and say they lack the top end talent to really compete is even crazier. As the second youngest team in the league at the end of the season, they ended one game short of the playoffs, 13th in offensive ratting, and 14th in defensive ratting without a real rim protector. J-Dub will get better as he's no longer a rookie, Shai will still be dominant as opposing teams had nothing else to gameplan for but him last year which might not be the case this year, and their already slightly above average defense will be bolstered by a real center in Chet Holmgren. While they don't have all the pieces or experience needed to make a legit run at a title, they, more likely than not, will be firmly in the playoffs, rather than in the play-in tournament.
He is a borderline top 10 player. I don’t think that’s disrespectful. The top 7 are pretty wide accepted to be Jokic, Giannis, Embid, Luka, Steph, Tatum and KD. That leave the next tier of Booker, Shai, Butler, Lebron, AD, Ja, Kawhi. That’s 14 guys. Which 4 do you leave out of the top 10? There’s a LOT of stars, right now.

People hating on the Celtics again which doesn’t surprise me at all. The only team that is probably above them is the team that won it all last year the Denver Nuggets. The Bucks are a good team but they didn’t do anything in the playoffs. Celtics also have a better SF , SG and Center then the bucks do. Giannis is still a top 5 player in the league and Damien Lillard in my opinion is a top 5 PG in the league. But overall the Celtics have a better team hence why they where given the number 1 spot in this video. The Bucks and Celtics need to go far in this coming year’s playoffs if they don’t then all those trades where for nothing.
This kind of mentality is exactly why the Celtics lost to the Heat. They can have the best team ON PAPER but if they don’t address why they lost to Miami 2 of three times and almost lost in 2022 which is underestimating their enemy and playing with no soul or leadership they will lose once again
But all in all I agree with your take...though I would like to see the adjustments both Boston, Milwaukee...they still need to gel as a team..and Phoenix is the biggest challenge...I would like to see them gel as a team.

Wolves ranked way too low. I get the skepticism but no one seems to respect their defensive ability, bench depth, roster consistency, and the fact that the stars are all in shape coming into the season. It’s honestly hilarious you ranked the Mavs 3 spots higher than then lmao
Having the Knicks over the Kings, Clippers, and Mavericks is heresy. You really gotta take a step back on your Knicks takes. I love what you do but sometimes that fan bias is a bit much. I’m also not sure about them over the Cavs even after the playoffs last year because of their player growth compared to the Cavs.
low-key the only crazy thing here would be Knicks over the Clippers and Cavs. I really don't rate the kings tbh though they were great last season and fox was kinda him I don't think they are gonna do better in the regular season especially considering the tougher competion they are gonna have to face in the west standings. And for mavs I still think their defense is garbage and Kyrie as he does a lot could suddenly make some random ahh trade request or something
who the celtics got?? highest paid player in the nba who aint even top 15 in the league, great borderline superstar who has proven himself in the past, injury prone kristaps who isnt going to do anything but avarage 18 points and play in less than half of the regular season games, great defender in jrue who always chokes when his team needs him most, an old man in al horford and derrick white whos a great role player. who else???? nuggets and suns sweeping the celtics if they somehow match up in the finals but i promise you they wont because they've got the bucks in the east lol
Your argument for the Bucks is sooo stupid. The Bucks have depth bro, they're depth is literally better then a ton of teams. Cam Payne Connaughton Beauchamp Crowder and Portis is a very solid bench unit, the take that it is bad is actually a very casual take, and I expected better from SROS. Not to mention the fact that the Bucks perimeter D is not as bad as you make it out to be. You make it sound like it's the end all be all of the team, when realistically you cant put Jae Crowder or Khris on the perimeter when necessary. Not to mention Giannis' switchability onto the perimeter and his help defense for when the perimeter defender gets blown by. The paint defense is on clamps, and with a new coach in Adrian Griffin implementing a pressure oriented defense, the perimeter defense will not be a liability. The Celtics on the other hand have very obvious flaws, and have a 10x worse bench then the Bucks. The bench is either Payton Pritchard, Derrick White, Sam Hauser, Oshae Brissett, and Luke Kornet or Payton Pritchard, Jordan Walsh/Svi Mykhailiuk, Sam Hauser, Oshae Brissett, and Al Horford. Outside of the top 6 their roster is awful, and is going to get exposed. Not to mention the P&R liability on defense from KP which will easily be abuse with either Brook or Giannis, both phenomenal roll men. Al Horford is aging and he is going to be put on Giannis, which even if he does good, he won't be able to have premium minutes due to his aging. JB's left hand is exposable, and Tatum is inconsistent on offense. Jrue Holiday is a playoff choker and a shot chucker. He is not reliable on offense, especially in the playoffs, and his defense is great in the regular season, but does not hold up in the playoffs. The Bucks have the better top end talent, offense, depth, and close enough defense. It really shouldn't be an argument between the Celtics and the Bucks.
the hawks should not be 6 places above the brooklyn nets especially after our draft, offseason and now a healthy lead playmaker in ben simmons the main piece we have been missig
Why do you all assume Kings will be injured with their young team while 39 year old LeBron and all the other olds will thrive? Weirdest takes right now.
Pelicans were the 1 seed before Zion injury last year. That was without BI too. 25 game sample size. If Zion and BI are healthy, the Pelicans are a top 3 seed in the West.
I think it is a bit disrespectfull to put Boston above Nuggets. Nuggets starting 5 > Boston's starting 5. Nuggets depth > Boston's depth ... I mean individually starting 5 of Boston might be a bit nore skilled, but when it comes to chemistry between the players Nuggets are unmatched.
This is awful? T wolves at tier 4? They a true contender in the west. The heat in top 7? Have you looked at betting odds? Knicks are +1600 and projected 6 seed, Cavs are +750 and a projected 3 seed in east.
i dont think Raptors and Jazz would be that 'high'. I know they both still low, but they should be lower in rank, or tier for Jazz. Raptors have new coach and they didnt add talent. I dont believe Siakam and Barnes would make that big of impact. No disrespect to Schroder, but hes worse defender than VVV. And i believe hes better lead the 2nd team than be the main PG. At the end of December, they would sell Siakam and OG, thus their rank would be down. Jazz. They dont have the creator to help, like Conley previously. Clarkson better as SG, and Sexton is not a creator with his tunnel vision. the addition of Collins would put them into problems. If they put him as a starter, they would put 2 non shooter on the roster, as Kessler will be at 5. And to put Lauri on 3, its just bad defensively. But to put Olynyk as starter would make a problem in itself. Collins would not be happy. Miami is worse than last year. To gamble more on undrafted like they usually were wont help. The east is stacked, far better than last year, arguably. So, they wont make another miracle run anymore. Dont sleep on Dallas. it was indeed a bad year last year for them, but they are significantly better now. Luka is in his best shape heading into the season, with the full summer honed his skill with national team, and a full offseason with Kyrie to build chemistry and gameplan. With the addition of many defensive minded players and shooters, on paper they are far better than last year, and arguably the best supporting players Luka ever had in his previous 5 seasons. Oh yeah, Luka is not in his prime yet.
Having the Heat ranked 8 on the list is blasphemy because they was lucky a lots teams has major injuries to their players. Butler was outstanding in the playoff too and don't get me wrong. I don’t know where this confidence came from but after doubting them all offseason, I feel like my bulls can shock the world this season
Not
No way Spurs finish dead last, I know with Pop being Pop Wemby won’t get as much time as other times would have given him but I still think they will make a decent jump this season
damn man
OKC is a top 4 team and you ranked them 18th 😮
I'm bookmarking this for later. I much enjoy going back to past predictions on vids (not just yours) and having a little fun with the ones that went wildly off . As a Frenchy I'd love the Spurs to surprise us all.
Pacers are at least a 7th seed if healthy
I don’t understand how the warriors are at 7 and the kings are at 14 they brought them to 7 and would’ve won if it wasn’t for curry’s 50
bro put celtics number 1
@@andrewarnold9751in my opinion he’s number 8 rn he’s gonna be higher after this season because i do agree there going to be in the playoffs maybe a five six seed both points you guys make are true shai is borderline top ten but to me he’s for sure #8 and thunder are being disrespected a bit in this vid
@@calebhall68268 is too high. He’s not better than 1. Jokic 2. Giannis 3. Steph 4. Luka 5. Embiid 6. KD 7. Tatum 8. AD 9. LeBron 10. Jimmy 11. Booker 12. Kawhi. He’s in the 13-15 range
Raptors are going to surprise you
The magic are gonna surprise a lot of people
Thunder at 18 aged well
I agree with the green being number one ❤️👏🏾💪🏾🌍🌍🇺🇸❤️

I like the video but you completely contradicted your tier explanations. U said tier 4 would be teams u don’t expect to make playoffs and then said u expect the hawks to make playoffs
T-wolves are WAYYY too low
Top 10 talent
Top 5 offensive bigs
Top 5 defensive bigs
Top 5 defender
Solid depth
I’d have them over a couple of those teams at around 11-14
This list is bad :(
What is this list. You disrespected the warriors and the clippers
I think Utah could be 15-10 because they do have a very good young team with a lot of depth
Thank you that’s what I’m saying they almost made the playoffs last year even after they traded had their team and they got even better with more depth
I agree
Timberwolves at 16😂😂😂
Bro didn’t even talk about the raptors with the WC champ
I give up every one of my youtubers over rate the rickets and underrated my boy Jordan Poole like one TH-cam said the rockets would be a top title contender lie💀
Welp except for For u put Houston at 26 thats pretty respectable but Washington then should be higher than them
Who tf you be watching?
Wolves ranked way too low. I get the skepticism but no one seems to respect their defensive ability, bench depth, roster consistency, and the fact that the stars are all in shape coming into the season. It’s honestly hilarious you ranked the Mavs 3 spots higher than then lmao
Minnesota, Golden State, Phoenix, Sacramento, OKC, LA, Miami, Orlando, and Memphis all far off 2 months later… missed on half the league
Looking at the Miami heat roster I honestly think they miss the playoffs
😂
Didn't mention Boston acquisition of Porzingis which will be huge.
Remake this video after opening week. Detroit definitely look better longterm than the blazers.
For me, The Lakers are gonna win it all…
Bucks number 1 for sure i completely disagree and bucks still have good defence but ok😢
My prediction is Celtics will have better regular season record than Bucks but will get bounced by Bucks in playoffs
Great take, Porzingus the traffic cone and old ass Horford don’t stand a chance against Giannis.
lol to the 2nd part
Spurs are better than blazers 😢
Embiids MVP is so stupid. The argument was that Jokic didnt win a title. Now that hes done it the MVP is moot.
bro put celtics above bucks
raptors 23rd?? i don’t believe that we’ll be going on a crazy run either but come on man
Bro Milwaukee easy top 2..But it's fine we have to wait till the end of the season ig..
who the celtics got??
highest paid player in the nba who aint even top 15 in the league, great borderline superstar who has proven himself in the past, injury prone kristaps who isnt going to do anything but avarage 18 points and play in less than half of the regular season games, great defender in jrue who always chokes when his team needs him most, an old man in al horford and derrick white whos a great role player. who else????
nuggets and suns sweeping the celtics if they somehow match up in the finals but i promise you they wont because they've got the bucks in the east lol
Aw! Pistons not dead last! Looking forward to another pick at 5.
Bro did not cook ☠️
Trash list celtics over champions lmao, who will guard jokic
In my opinion gsw and lal need to switch places
OKC should be in top ten
I think houston is not that bad I truly believe they can make the playoffs! Also the lakers in my opinion got the best bench in the league
wow bulls so high on that list. without an elite pg, that team can't get it going at all.
Hornets going to be dead last
Do i detect a little bias with the knicks?
matt what’s your favorite slur ??
Spurs wont be last soon, they have young talent
Bucks RE TOP 2 heavy and that’s it Lopez is old and Middleton knees are COOKEDDDD
Lakers way too high
Kings at 14 is a terrible take, never make basketball videos again.
The T wolves are tier 3 definitely
the hawks should not be 6 places above the brooklyn nets especially after our draft, offseason and now a healthy lead playmaker in ben simmons the main piece we have been missig
😂😂
Why do you all assume Kings will be injured with their young team while 39 year old LeBron and all the other olds will thrive? Weirdest takes right now.
I don’t want to be a hater but I think the Celtics at #1 is a bit much, I personally have them below Denver and Milwaukee, but we’ll see
Yeah I think it’s gonna be another Celtics meat ride into them out in playoffs
Agree 100%
100% true
Pelicans were the 1 seed before Zion injury last year. That was without BI too. 25 game sample size. If Zion and BI are healthy, the Pelicans are a top 3 seed in the West.
Zion has missed more than half the games he’s had in his career. He’s not staying healthy
TWolves at #16???? Are you nuts? Horrible under estimation of this team's talent and depth. A joke!
I think it is a bit disrespectfull to put Boston above Nuggets. Nuggets starting 5 > Boston's starting 5. Nuggets depth > Boston's depth ... I mean individually starting 5 of Boston might be a bit nore skilled, but when it comes to chemistry between the players Nuggets are unmatched.
lol
Nuggets depth is not great
Hornets at 28 is ridicolous
Spurs are way to low
Ig I’m the only one who believes in Orlando and believes they’ll be a top 10 team in the east if they’re healthy.
The Bucks aren’t a third place team with Dame and Giannis ranked them too low
Always watch your vids while I eat
Ofc Matt hates the raptors lmaoo
Thanks for showing love to the Celtics
I don’t think this rank after20 will be like that
Having the Heat ranked 8 on the list is blasphemy because they was lucky a lots teams has major injuries to their players. Butler was outstanding in the playoff too and don't get me wrong. I felt like this yr Miami heat will get bounce out the playoffs or will not make. UD retired is huge and Butler is getting older too
he ranked the heat 4th in the east what are you complaining about.the top 3 is better than them since they lost good role players like max strus and gave vincent etc....
Spurs are definitely not the worst team in the league tf...
Wolves way too low
