POC DO Blade Unboxing and First Look

A quick unboxing and first look at the POC DO Blade cycling sunglasses. These glasses are a great alternative to other high end sunglasses such as the common oakley jawbreaker.
Used in conjunction with the poc octal helmet this is a great alternative combo from the usual high end suspects.

You confirm that those sunglasses come with no other additional lenses right ? I've found POC's sunglasses at a very cheap price and they come with 4 different lenses. I'm pretty sure they're fake.

Matthias GUTHARDT hmm I’ve bought 2 sets, both only came with the lens installed in the frame. If it was a big trusted store it sounds a good deal but yeah, could well be a fake. Wiggle usually sell them for about 3/4 of the price of oakleys which is a great deal I think

Yeah fakes are as good as original ones but you get more for much much more reasonable price.

I got fake ones, look 100 Percent like those in the video, even inside they write about those Carl Zeiss lenses. Same case as well. 3 lenses.

@ I been using those Fake Poc on every ride for the last 6 months and I have no complains whatsoever, feels and looks like a quality product. I also got some Fake Oakleys which were even cheaper, like 4$ I believe, and they are servicable but the plastic and lenses seem to be of low quality.

quick question, but is aston hill any good for beginner riders?

I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. Even the XC trail is quite steep and the rest of the trails are very technical and steep. There are better places to learn.
I wouldn’t say dont go but I defo wouldn’t go with clipless pedals and without some knee pads. I’ve pulled the ejector seat many times there and jumped over my handle bars avoiding going over them!

Well it depends where you are living. But have a look on the Strava heatmaps and find some local trails would be my advise for a total beginner not used to off-road

Any coating issue for poc len after a year of usage
