1949 FORD MERCURY ORIGINAL STOCK UNTOUCHED UNRESTORED STOCK MOTOR FOURTH GENERATION OWNERS!

I came across this all original Ford Mercury 1949 at Somernites Cruise in Somerset Kentucky October 2022 showcasing Camaros and Firebirds show. It was a pleasure to chat with the owners Joy who inherited the car from his dad and has now passed it on to his son Josh who will be passing the original untouched Mercury to his son. Kept in the family for almost four generations, this 1949 Mercury has never been touched or restored yet maintained and is running with its stock motor.

Thank you so much for doing this video. Somernites Cruise is one of the best shows on the east coast, it takes so many great people who are also volunteers to put this show on through the summer months. I came to the first somernites many years ago as a young man and always hoped I could bring this car to this show someday, this was the day!!! This is my families sheetetal legacy we have several more cars but this is the one that I have always been with.
When I bought my home and built my shop I told my father ( the man in this video) were taking the mercury to my shop so I can get it running and driving. Here we are!
