      Mh iphone 11 doesn't have the enable microphone feature but it does have Live Listen. I like that because I can hear the TV or another person when I'm out of the room. Is enable microphone similar to Live Listen? Great video....

      I just got to Genesis AI this past week and every time my phone call comes in it mutes the mics
      I have tried all the settings
      Mic is on and turned up before phone calls. I can hear my clock ticking on the wall.
      Audio routing is set to phone calls but off for media.
      Well the media is useful sometimes I'd rather not go more deaf than I already am thanks to my military service.
      The hearing aids work well and the other day I was talking on the phone with them but last night and today it just stopped working .
      I can answer the phone using my voice but the other person cannot hear me and when I check the mics they are turned down but even turning them back up seems to do nothing.
      iPhone 12 Pro Max with latest Apple update 17.2
      I do not have Wi-Fi at my home so everything is Bluetooth and cell service but I turn the cell service on because I don't want them tracking me and they track everything even my steps which is irritating as heck

      I do not have mic input. If you have a chance, you might want to add into the comment section why many of us followed your steps yet could not find "Mic Input".

    I can not respond for other brand of MFI hearing aid, but with widex moment this option is not offered. I communicated with widex about this issue but they seem not to be working on an update and are more inclined to promote their widex sound assist .

    After pressing the ear my screen does not show the mic input; instead it has Live Listen, so I can’t turn it on or off.

    RMatthew sounds great but - I live in Australia, have an iPhone XR iOS 16.4.1, Widex Moment hearing aids - There is no mic option on the Control screen tho??? Last option is Live Listen. I feel deprived!! 😢

    On my iPhone 11, when I press the ear on the Control Panel, all I see is
    1. R-KS hearing aid (for KS-10 aids)
    2. Background Sounds
    Off
    3. Live Listen
    connect a compatible audio device to use Live Listen
    Mic Input and the other controls you show is not there.

      I should add that my phone was already picking up sound from the microphones on the aids. Sometime, when my wife is on a call using the speaker the phone suddenly switches to streaming and then what I say is heard by the caller, even if I'm in the garage when she and the phone are in the house.

    I followed the instructions; however, when I click on the "ear" in the control panel after opening it from the upper right corner, all I get is the name of my hearing aids and the percentage of battery power left. I see nothing else. Do I assume I should be able to take hands free calls and hear thru my aids? If so, how do I answer the call coming in? Also, how do I turn down the volume?

    I have worn hearing aids for the last 6 months.. I started out with the lyric.. I absolutely LOVED the sound quality for the 3 months that I was lucky to have them, but unfortunately wasn't a candidate in the end. I then tried IIC hearing aids and hated the sound quality.. I now have the phonak audeo lumity and loved how they sounded until I started having a feedback issue, then my audiologist applied the feedback cancelation and they now sound awful when they get tinny with a lot of tones,(like an oven going off or carder beeping, etc..) or when I'm singing/playing piano, even in the music setting and I can't stand it... What my audiologist did was trying to reduce the high frequency gain which hasn't helped.. He asked me to try experimenting with changing setting on my own to see if there's anything that I liked and monitor it this week before going back.. No luck with that.. Any ideas of what to do?? HELP!!!!!

    iPhone 13 Pro Max. iOS 16.4.1. There is no “mic input” selection

    • @huewish
      @huewish ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mic selection only appears when you are in a call. Slide control center down, and you should see it towards the top. Select”Voice Isolation,” and the people on the other end will only hear your voice.

    • @HearingTracker
      @HearingTracker  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Kado, that’s the voice isolation you’re referring to. Hands free calls can be accessed via the control centre. Thanks for watching, Matthew

    Or you could get a Phonak Paradise/Lumity and make it work with all phones, not just iPhone like I do with my 5 year old Samsung Note 8.

    android voice isolation during phone calls hearing aids. My wife says the people she is talking to can hear whats going on in the room the's in. The hearing aids show be able to cancel background noises while on a phone call. Other device can do that without a apple phone. YES VOICE ISOLATION!!!

    I've found some hearings aids only work with Apple phones, but at least Apple is allowing you to do what my Unitrons can do with my Samsung.

  • @torinsall

    iphone hookups seem a bit convoluted.
    All I did was pair Phonak Paradise hearing aids to my Samsung Note9 phone and poof...it worked. Just press a hearimg aid button to answer a call or hang up and never have to take the phone out my pocket. Simple.
